Saw RAY in Atlanta the show after GLEN was let go. One of the best shows I've EVER SEEN.. SHORT SET THOE 70 MIN. WELL..... I LEAST GOT TO AEE HIM.

Too bad this is not in better quality, it sums up evertyhing that was great about Lizzy and Lynott in this period. A lot of improvisation, ad-libs and on the go ideas. Fantastic.

Philo was the goat . I became a Thin Lizzy fan in high school back in 1989 and decided back then if ever I had a daughter , I’d name her after Phil’s firstborn … it’s 2025 and my daughter will be 23 this summer 😊

One of my favourite Black Sabbath's tunes, it's so sad to me this song hasn't been performed more often, only twice in 1972 (as far as I know), and I have recently found this 2001 version. Obviously I'm talking about original band with Bill on drums.

I was lucky enough to see Ray with them in march of 1986. He effortlessly glided through several era's of Sabbath. He was incredible. I still say he was their best pure singer.

Does anyone know why Scott played the Emerald solo instead of Snowy? Considering Robbo, Gary, and John played the main solo, so why not Snowy??

I've heard lately. I've got to find myself an occupation. The song was recorded properly outside of Philip's home studio. Forget THIS IS THE ONE.

I challenge any Snowy White hater to listen to this and come back and tell me he sucked and didn't fit Thin Lizzy LMAOO. Snowy was badass and he tore it up here.

It seems that many here think that the solo is played by Snowy. This is wrong! It's definitely Scott's style.

Martin sucked he could never be at the top level as Ray
@The1WhoKnowsTheTruth10 күн бұрын
@ Yeah ok. Two entirely different animals. Martin did not suck. The Eternal Idol and The Headless Cross are both stellar works vocally. Go shit on somebody who really sucks. As for Ray. He was a great talent with a smooth range. He was not a good human being though.
@meyou917610 күн бұрын
@The1WhoKnowsTheTruth i will shit on steven the pedophile tyler. To each their own. Ray was a great person when I met him twice but I didn't know much of his personal life. Rock on ✌️

On a side note .... Eric Singer was Lita Fords drummer. Tony stole him when Cozy Powle was killed in a car accident. But at the time it was TONY & COZY'S BAND. & THEN TONY MARTIN COMES TO SAVE THEM. ONE HELL OF A CD.
