Thin Lizzy - For Those Who Love to Live (Live 1974, Complete version)

By request, I uploaded a higher quality and more complete version of a previous audio I posted a few years back. This was performed in Liverpool, England on 9 Nov 1974, before the 'Fighting' album came out. You can hear elements of "Freedom Song" in this version as well. I think it's a quite outstanding version myself.

I along with my brothers were very lucky to have followed and got to see Thin Lizz play live all over the land for many years (but not enough years) We got to see the greatest rocking bank play live. We knew during those times that we were living in a very special time for music and I thank God Phil Lynott, Thin Lizzy & Rory Gallagher for the great times we had and the most brilliant music we got to see played live ion stage

Ok maybe you’re right. There is very few setlists from back then on the web. I guess they didn’t have that many songs to play in the beginning with Robbo and Scott so they threw new ones in pretty fast. But it’s almost a year before Fighting. Phil does much of the lyrics to Freedom Song here. Phil introduces the band here wonder if Baby Drives Me Crazy wasn’t written yet. On the Golders Green Hippodrome Nov 27th gig wich was recorded by BBC they played it.

I believe this is from 75 not 74.fighting came out in september 1975.

It's definitely from 1974. They were playing some of those songs live before the release of the Fighting album. Most of the time with different lyrics. This version is actually a combination of "FTWLTL" and "Freedom Song". Lots of bands did that before the advent of the internet.
