Black Seas Papercraft Terrain Build 13.12.2023

Nearly a year ago I did a vid showing scaled down paper craft buildings for Black Seas terrain. It took a while but I'm finally moving on the Black Seas terrain project, using these pre-printed simple and nifty models of old style buildings. A perfect fit to the Black Seas era. Scaled down from 28mm to about 3mm. No need to hand sculpt and paint. Now watch as I swear more than the average game of Warhammer, trying to make the tiniest tabs fold and glue correctly. Preferably not to me. With enough perseverance and masochism I reckon it might work.
Hobby enhancement was caffeinated.

They look close enough to scale for me. Great job sizing and building them. Just remembered a paper craft model maker who does small scale buildings, not sure if they're the exact right scale, but check out this KZbinr - www.youtube.com/@CrookedStaffTerrain

Great idea to use papercraft for this scale. For the chimney, I would just use a tiny piece of matchstick cut at an angle. Which papercraft sets did you use for this and how did you scale them down?

Thanks. I used Daves Games models - www.davesgames.net. by a bloke called Dave Graffam I think. I have a modest bundle of his PDFs but there is a much wider range to check out. scaling was a challenge. There is a scaling guide in the instructions, but it doesn't go down to 3mm. Best guess would be 10%. The way I actually did it in the end was to go to the local office works print shop and do a couple of test prints. The scale by putting multiple A4 PDF pages onto one page for print. So each paper that comes out of the printer has 40 scaled down pages on it (5 by 8). This could have been done in a. more planned way than it eventuated as it's the first time I tried it. I recommend taking some time to work out exactly what you want on each print page and working with the staff to get it.
