Black Series Review: Darth Vader (ESB 40th Anniv.)

Hey I believe the package image is the same in reference to the original Kenner 3.75inch Darth Vader when ESB was released all the ANH Kenner figures got new boxes with new logos but not new candid photos

Yes. Kenner Hasbro actually did it the way they did it back when it was first released and at that time, they used the ANH pic.

The reason both of the packages have the same picture is because in the original kenner line the empire strikes back Vader figure had the a new hope picture

The only difference is the blue metallic paint on the carbonized version. Both figures are the ESB design.

This figure is the black series. Both retro card and boxed one use the same sculpt. I would say that the Black series is great and its affordable.

Yes. This figure is only packaged in the old style card to commemorate the 40 th anniversary of ESB.
