Hey there, thanks for giving our pomade a review. Glad you liked it!

I liked using this and the lite formula with Dax W&G back in the day as toppers. Used that combo for long time, I really like the scent on the B&W pomades.

Dax W&G and B&W Lite was my combo for a long time but that changed when I found Dax S&N because its shine is so much better.

I adore this stuff. Try it with build up
@pomadesandpomps7 жыл бұрын
I did it in this video and it's amazing

I have and even with build up it has very little hold to it. It's a light pomade at best that is useful for a topping to give shine to a thick pomade underneath. This stuff also wilts and drips like crazy in California sun. The original Sweet Georgia Brown made by Murray's was a fantastic holding pomade and had a great shine. Lockharts makes it now but sadly the blue doesn't hold like Murray's did

How does this one compare to Murray's Super Light? A bit more hold and a bit less shine?

Can't wait to see this guy review other hair products besides Pomades, I wonder if you will do a review on clay based hair gels like Hanz de Fuko's Claymation or Sumotech.

Honestly that's a total pass for me. I'm not one to review such salon products as I am a traditionalist when it comes to hair products.

What does build up mean? Do you wash it out everyday or leave it in?
@pomadesandpomps4 жыл бұрын
Oil based pomades do not go away with one wash. The residue left over is called buildup. Any avid OB pomade user will not recommend you to wash out all the product everyday but use it to your advantage. Add a little less product each day and see how your hair gets more hold and control. After a few days or a week or whenever you have enough of the buildup, remove it completely (degrease).

i have heard that elvis used this pomade. is that true
@pomadesandpomps6 жыл бұрын
Yes. He's used any different types of products but is most notable for using Black & White, Vaseline Hair Tonic, Lucky Tiger Cru-Butch Wax, and Royal Crown Hairdressing.

Ali Malik There's photograohic evidence of him with a Lucky Tiger jar and also another picture of a bottle of Vaseline tonic in his bathroom. First learned it from Joseph Avo, and it's also rather common knowledge in the rockabilly community.

Can you make a best to worst budget pomade video please?
@Suddenlyits19602 ай бұрын
Black and White has no hold at all. The only thing its good for is a topping to give your hair shine. It will NOT hold a pompadour or any serious style and will drip like crazy in summer heat. You keep hearing people say "Elvis used this",yes,as a topping for shine,but it didnt create his pompadour. He used thick waxy oil based pomades under it.

It can be both a blessing and a curse. Typical Asian hair is very thick and coarse and it's super difficult to deal with unless you grow it out to a certain length, usually significantly more than Caucasian hair. But I'm one of the luckier Asians with fine hair, and yes, my hair still can be a pain to deal with when it is short, but I have it a lot easier and require less length than most typical Asians
