I did date white men who had no experience with black people. So I may have gotten some silly questions periodically from people who were genuinely curious and felt safe enough to ask. But to be fair, I had some silly questions about their culture too. So I always took it as an innocent learning experience for both, because the questions were never malicious. That being said, my white husband is hands down THE most incredible man I have ever met, and I wouldn't trade him for any man, let alone a black man, on the planet. But yes, he had hella questions about my hair. I was super comfortable with these conversations... how else would he know that my saying I have to wash my hair was not me blowing him off for a date??? No black man has ever introduced me to their families (but they sure as hell lost their minds when I ended things). No white man "forgot" to tell me he was married, or had the audacity to ask me to be their baby mama. Black men? Yup. More than once. But yes, I have had some bad dates with white men, or with indian men who assumed I was easy because I am black. Sucky people come in all colours. However, my experience has been that white men have by far on average treated me with more respect.

You vet your partner, regardless of their Race. So the better question is, why arent Blk people taking the TIME to VET partners? True, people can deceive you long-term but thats not the norm. I waited almost a year before I began to date my White boyfriend. I took my time learning him and whether his family would be cool with IR dating. It's on you, not the partner, to vet compatability. Truly take the time to learn the person. Talk about Race together. Ive noticed a lot of Blk men and women get with a non-Blk person and start glorifying Whiteness and putting down Blackness. So their partner starts to feel like they can do it too. ✋️ Stop that. We have to also admit that some Blk people choose non-black partners out of self-hatred and therefore they end up in scenarios like this, b/c they weren't dating out truly for love, but for erasure & status, etc.

If I'm dating a white man he doesn't need to be wearing a kufi or like every black person he comes in contact with, I don't even love all black people and I'm darker than a paper bag. I would date a white man even tho I can't stand most of them, I only need to love one. He needs to open his wallet and love me. Then why is she giddy when a white man doesn't want his biracial child identifying as black when that child is biracial? So much anger, projecting and confusion with that lady in the first video😕

I can only speak form my experience I was engaged to a white man for 5 years and my mother called it out she said at the end of things because he is not going to marry you, he will call you out of your name and that's exactly what he did I don't think I was hurt as much by the cheating and stealing a reverse psychology and mental abuse that he participated in when it came to our situation I was more hurt by the blatant disrespect of him calling me out of my name and yes it was the n word after that situation I never dated another white man I prefer black men and that's what I ended up marrying and when I look back at what I went through I regret even knowing that individual this is why it's very important to vet who you're considering marrying I thank God he stopped me before I made that huge mistake and I got to see who I really was dealing with!

Sadly I’ve always felt that it would be very hard to date as a biracial woman because of racism and I wasn’t wrong…

As a black mix woman who has dated both Hispanic and white men, I have never had any of these problems. Even when the white men I dated didn't work out, they never caught me a racial slur, nor ever said anything hurtful or harmful about black people, at least to my face. I'm sure it has unfortunately happened to some black women that have data outside of their race, but thankfully that's never been my experience personally. Now unfortunately, when talking about black men, I never even made it to a full on relationship, because we usually clashed so badly, and he would say such hurtful and mean shit to me, it would pretty much die off before it even had a chance to start. But I guess that's a different conversation for a different day...

I’ve dated a non black man and he was racist. He liked me but didn’t really like black people in general. I didn’t realize it in the beginning because I was young and ignorant. He tried to get his family to accept me by lightning up my photo to make them believe I wasn’t black.
