I'm picking up on subtle narcissism. She met him when he was broke and at a bus stop. And she was already a celebrity. Flash forward, now she's stroking his ego and talking about being his fan and supporter now. Nothing about how he's supporting her. All about him now. Sounds like she may have been going out of her way to give him her power and make him feel superior from day one. Probably what lead to the divorce.

No that's you're Feministic tunnel vision kicking in. How can you be picking up on narcissism when he's saying he's in her and complimenting her. You want to attack him because now they're divorcing. Women like you sometimes are better being seen and not heard, because you just go on the little information you've been fed in the media or you watch one thing like this and you think you know the story based on that. He was not being narcissistic at all in this. You call it narcissism because he's not throwing himself at her feet giving her over praise. You know, something YOU would probably expect to feed your ego. It's nothing wrong with boosting your man's confidence. THAT'S PART OF BEING A LOVING WIFE! Yeah she met him at a bus stop, so what?. Where are some unusual places men found you? Who are you to judge? NOBODY! Be careful how you point your finger, because some man may meet YOU at a bus stop one day. You picked up on narcissism, because you sound like you a narcissist yourself. Trying to be high with standards of a man, when you probably are average and can't even match the standard yourself.
@jasonsterling4129 Жыл бұрын
@@lateyshasmith8573 it's give and take. That's what a relationship is all about. Why should YOU be only taker in the relationship? It's about helping each other. The relationship dynamic is a major factor. Most women can’t be content and without showing her hand, handle being the breadwinner long term. They got married way too young even though they were in their late 20s..it was too young in the sense that HE wasn’t really settled and established yet. And perhaps thought his career would take off more in these last several years. She was steady moving, and he wasn’t moving as fast. Men that haven’t found themselves or haven’t gotten settled in their purpose can’t handle a woman who is long-term. Initially, they think they can catch up and feel inspired. And then they’re annoyed and resent you. If he gets out into dating again, he will end up with someone who he feels more like the man with. She won’t be as accomplished as Tia, but he will seem so much happier and open. Again, this is one of the downsides of getting married before you’re established-it won’t last even if you’re married for years. Because resentment and unhappiness can only last so long before it starts showing up in actions!
@AS-wj1du4 ай бұрын
I heard that, if you build a man he resents you and leaves. That's why they say men prefer women not on their level and would leave a woman who is for another, it's probably because they like controlling women as well. A lot of men leave the build up woman for another, it doesn't make them love you more to help them. Men love saying women are gold diggers but they don't want a woman's love either.

I'm glad she divorced him. No eye contact, couldn't even look at his woman... I mean wife. What's that all about? So distant! No arm around her waist or even relaxed over the back of the sofa. 🛋 No closeness whatsoever. Meanwhile, she is smiling and looking at him, while also engaging with the interviewer. He just valued her because she put up with his BS, and she was the provider, and was very supportive, as he said. There is nothing worst than being with Mr Wrong.

Awe just saw a report today 10/4/2022 that they’re divorcing. I hope that they have exhausted all of their options before leading up to this. They are both likable and seemed genuine. You always wanna see couples win (succeed)and conquer any and all trials. I wish nothing but the best for them and their family. Marriage is hard work and about compromise. It’s give and take. I always liked them together. They have a beautiful family. This came as such a shock. 😔 May God place his hedge of protection around them and allow them to make the best decision for their family.❤🙏🏾✝️

“Winning” is being truly happy and having peace of mind. If that isn’t happening within a relationship it’s best to move on. Lots and lots of people get married for the wrong reasons. Staying in a marriage isn’t about “winning” and ending a marriage isn’t losing. Many people see divorce as a *failure* , which is part of the reason it can be so devastating. Sometimes relationships work and sometimes they don’t. There are a lot of societal pressures placed on marriage and married couples to stay together forever and “make it work” even if it’s toxic or painful.

This is where idolizing black love will get you. Tia was a bubbly, always very giving woman...whereas he seemed to have always been more immature, laid back, and receiving. I don't recommend marrying a man younger than you and who you had to "build" to be with. Find a man on your level or higher otherwise he will be mad at you for shining brighter than him.

When Tia said their relationship isn’t “gushy-gushy” it was a red flag. 🚩 That “gushy-gushy” feeling isn’t always fake. The mushy, hyper-sentimental relationships in rom-coms can’t even come close and don’t capture the deeply emotional, passionate, spiritual, empyreal, otherworldly, and very real romantic feelings and experiences some couples have. ❤️ Clearly, the fire had already gone out of their relationship. 🔥

Yes every relationship has problems but I speak from experience when he says she gets on my nerves, he wasn't joking. That's the toxicity being shown between them. It is sad when things breakdown but I've learnt that there is a time to let go when it becomes un fixable.
