I'm a huge Forza fan. Forza was all I played between 2014-2018. But I need to be honest: franchise fatigue has set in and it's hard to be truly excited for the next game. Releasing 5 games in 9 years will do that to you.

Yeah, I think November 2025 sounds about right, 2024 felt a bit too soon, like the game needed something before the next one got announced. The Backstage was that something.

Maybe FH5 still can have a good chunk of update to keep the game alive, before actually preparing for next game. I just wish they didn't rush FH6, that's all

I'll be excited for FH6, but I really hope it'll be handled better than Motorsport, that game was so bad and definitely not built from the ground up. Even if it's mostly the same as Horizon's before it won't be bad, sometimes I find too much innovation can be bad, like in COD for example when jet packs came about, keeping it simple works and it's what I enjoy most. Either way I'm excited to see where it's set and what they have in store for us!

Im so glad i wasnt the only one with that STINKING MAP BUG. only solution i've found is load the map via playlist or restarting the game :u Side note! the paint artifacting is from one of the anti-aliasing options. you can see it with brake lights also. Pretty sure its TAA? or one of Nvidia's? i forget

As dodgy as it could be for FH6 to release next fall, I really don’t think there is much else they can do. Pushing it out too far could kill the hype for the game and releasing alongside GTA6 is straight up playing with fire 🔥

I mean the backstage pass doesn't really fix the fomo as it's on rotation so you can't just get any car at any time, It does help a lot but it won't be enough for me to redownload the game

Forza Horizon 5 missed simply because of the map location and the car sounds, couldve been a hit if it werent in Mexico. Doomed from the start 😭😂

I think the problem was in the map design in general. Mexico is beautiful but this map fails to do anything exciting with it. Like 80% of it is just plain fields and useless roads. Also a modern city was needed, Guanajuato could have been a perfectly fine location if it weren’t the main city. Missing a Surfers Paradise or an Edinburgh.

Mexico isn't the issue. It theoretically had the potential of being the best map in the series. But it was designed for the Eliminator. The middle is dull and flat. And there is little to no modern infrastructure like cities with tall buildings, fuel stations, shops, neighborhoods etc. Also the road layout is awful. It's just a huge web of roads that make no sense.

I hope so. FH5 fell flat for me. It had all this hype behind it but ultimately was just another DLC for FH3. Boring map, the same cars from previous games. No sense of progression as cars are literally just given to you. FOMO up the ass. Still a lack of customization compared to the Crew 2 and NFS...hell, even CarX street has more options. The series needs to change things up and I honestly hope FH6 is good.
