1975 I got my very first PackAmack 10 yr old at Blackpool as it was raining?. I got it from the gift shop next to the old Foxhall Tavern as our digs were next door on the front.

I miss Blackpool. Was meant to go last week but didn't work out that way. I don't mind Blackpool in all weathers. However for the top of the tower, good weather is great as then you can see for miles. However they do not open the Blackpool tower attraction if weather is bad, particularly if it is windy. Thanks for the mini tour. Blackpool will always be part of my heart. Have had some good times there and hope to in the future.

It wouldn’t bother me going to Blackpool in rain but it does make everywhere look miserable, so not uplifting, saying that there’s always something to do inside for shelter from the dire elements on days like this. That’s a good bonus !! It’s raining bad constantly in greater Manchester.gardens mine like rivers, Great. Not ! This what have deal with living up north and other parts of UK too. If the rain is a bit heavy and you go on the Big1 it can be a touch sore on the face when the coaster is on the fast parts, I still mind around 2006 or 2007 the rain was bouncing down and I was in the park with my daughter, we were soaked and every time I mentioned we should really leave and come back another day she looked so disappointed, so we stayed and kept going into the big stand in dryer near Valhalla which wasn't really drying us off much. Was still Q's for all the rides even though it was tipping down, being from Scotland we're well used 2 the rain lol. From memory it was one of those 5 day holidays that it rained pretty much every day, then when we got back home I was watching the weather FC on TV for the week we came back and Blackpool was baking in sunshine, bloody typical Eh!

My first ever visit to Blackpool was in 1996 during school 6 weeks holiday for 7 days and it was Absolutely pouring down just like this. Off topic here slightly but we got a hotel about 10-15mins walk further up from the tower opposite the sea and i remember me and my brother checking every Arcade we came across for a Killer Instinct 1 machine we didnt find any , we got to Coral island and the place was huge inside filled with many arcade games and five Killer instinct 2 cabinets the game had literally come out a few weeks ago mid 1996 and i didnt know anything about it. I felt quite sad inside not having found a Killer Instinct 1 machine , and i'll never forget this we came out of the exit of Coral Island where there's a road you drive straight down and can turn left or right on to the promenade , it was pissing down raining heavy the time was between 20.30 and 20.45pm and opposite inside Golden Mile aka MR Bee's at the time i could see from across the street was a Killer Instinct 1 machine me and my brother hurried and crossed over the road , the cabinet was £1 for 5 credits something completely unheard of here in london the game was 50p for 1 credit. After that i spent every single day in MR Bee's on that KI1 Machine from 12 midday until 8-9pm at night , went for fish and chips then back to the arcade and after a walk along the Sea back to our hotel. Happy wonderful Blackpool if only if could have stayed the same as the 90's Seeing that KI1 machine in the heavy rain across the street after searching for one for what felt like an eternity , running up to it and seeing £1 for 5 credits knowing already i'll be here everyday for the next 7 days is one of the happiest moments of my childhood

Man Stephen you disappointed me in that video you didnt even walk anywhere near my game or get it on Camera, at 4.30 and 8.23 seconds you can see Killer Instinct 2 all the way on the right side of the bar and past all the tables. I think its not the smartest idear to have the game over there isolated away from the main arcade area. But Stephen i did want to ask , if you ever go back to Arcade Club i would send you a donation to walk over to the Killer Instinct 2 machine and if nobody is playing tap Up on the joystick to see the High Score Leaderboards, it takes about a minute to for it to go through all the characters. I would always do this back in the 90s before even putting my money in the cabinet , it'd be awesome to see if there are any decent players in Blackpool playing Killer instinct nowadays. 👍
