Hey buddy you're doing rad and bodacious and tom next time when you make chain add flux powder on the unforged link because since i researched about flux powder it is highly important to protect chain from oxidation and when you make chain add flux powder in that unforged link so that chain will not be oxidised and since you make chain of as many number of links it is important to note that chain should not be contaminated if chain gets oxidised the links will become weaker and have high chance of breaking and to protect chain from getting oxidised /contamination adding flux powder is important while linking chain 🤝🤝

Thanks for this! I agree about the use of flux, however there is room for both methods. With proper technique, the impurities should be forced out of the weld. Flux is often used as a substitute for good technique.
