@@theprogrammer32 well what would you know most of that stuff they talk on the show is really important if you are interested in blacksmithing or are a blacksmith(part or full time) if you just see this show for the first time you would think that they are a bunch of clowns talking out of their ass and randomly hitting hot steel but try doing it i bet you wouldnt make something that even remotely looks like any sort of knife

@@notsomexicanufo Yeah. I do blacksmithing as a hobby, and cutting an apple clean through is basically a rite of passage in blade making. You gotta get the bevel and weight good enough to the point that the momentum of the sword alone cuts through the apple without pushing it.
