As a beekeeper I can say that every single wild hive in texas is africanized to some degree, not all of them display the aggressiveness due to high amounts of cross breeding. They are however highly productive with regards to honey and pollenation

I remember when I was ten years old and at entomology camp, guy who was our guardian at the camp turns to me and my brother and goes, "Wanna see some killer bees?" Hell yeah we went to look at killer bees. Got suited up in bee keeping suits that didn't really fit and saw a huge mass of Africanized honey bees in a tree hollow. He smoked them and pulled one out to show us the different kind of bees and in different stages of life. Dude straight up didn't give a fuck.
