Unfortunately the tube cannot be removed by the owner. To removing it requires taking the whole pedal apart which is not good.

It will be perfect if it has external or midi channel switching so it can be controlled with loop switchers like the Boss MS3.

I wish there had been more time devoted to showing off the sound going in direct without any other amps or real cabinets involved. I much more interested in using this as a pedal platform for direct recording through USB and would have liked to have seen the effects loop utilized. I'd also be curious if something like the TC Electronic IR Loader in the effects loop would outshine the built-in cabrig emulation. But you got some great sounds there. Appreciate it.

I use my dual drive direct to my Headrush and it'S work well. The base cab sim are horrible but in the sotware you can fin something cool.

Although your strat is loaded with humbuckers, it still has that "strat sound"... I would like to see a demo using something like a Jackson, Ibanez or a Les Paul in a more "metal" setting. Can either of these deal up a modern high-gain metal sound? The heaviest that I heard in this video would work great if you were playing in a Dokken cover band...

The actual pedal sounds pretty good…but 2 major major disasters in the design. The effects loop ONLY works in the distortion settings so if you want to run clean (which any player will most of the time) you lose your effects totally. So basically useless. No 2 is the USB setting into a computer sounds so bad, I mean so so bad I can’t imagine anyone would find a use for it in their wildest nightmare. It’s so scratchy and toppy and thin, and no amount of playing or bypassing will fix it. It’s unusably horrible, I can’t believe they released it sounding like this. If your buying and taking the USB into account on your choice forget it.

@@pittbrat7963 what outboard gear you are talking about? DO you mean they secretly add other equipment in the chain and don't disclose this fact? Because I saw several demos without any additional gear involved, at least that was stated.

In this demo, you're correct. There are others showing the cab sim in usage & it sounds fabulous.
