I just now noticed it has been right at 8 years since I uploaded this video. Many have asked how the pavement was holding up. I'm happy to report it looks as good as the day it was laid. I have seal coated it twice over the years and will probably be ready to do that again in about another year.

It is in the US, just NW of Austin, TX. It is holding up really well and we have been happy with the job they did.

Seems to be doing fine. I have not seal coated it yet but, will get that done in a few months.

Several have asked how the pavement was holding up. Since it is coming up on 4 years now, I thought I would give an update. I seal coated it for first time last summer. It looks as good today as it did the day it was laid down. I did the seal coat myself. It took 21 five gallon buckets to do the entire 4500 sq. ft. of pavement.

@DollarEightyLady Yes, they were a little short with the 3 loads and came back next morning to finish up.

I am wondering where was this done? In the US or Canada?

How is the pavement holding up after 8 months?

Looks like they dumped the 3 loads and sent them back for more

can you tell me how much this cost? some guy just laid some type of asphalt mix on my dad's driveway (dry) in November and it was cold. He charged him $1800. He laid it while my father was gone and without his agreement. I'm trying to get information to see if my dad just got scammed. The driveway looks okay, but it is not a hard type of asphalt (because it is dry) and I think grass will grow up through it. And I'm not sure what rain will do to it.
