When I see kyokushin fights I can’t get over the standing and trading .punch after punch after kick after kick-no protective gear whatsoever so hard core it’s definitely the most aggressive style of Karate

@@NeroMMA . Yeah that’s why they can take so many punches to the body and not feel any pain. I swear kyokushin has the no punching in the head rule because if they did they would kill each other. I’m sticking to my mma kyokushin is scary af

Assalamualaikum bro, I love your videos and recently subbed. My question is basic but important for a begginer like myself and it's how to put weight behind your punch? The proper technique for punching (jab, hook, cross and etc.). I would be grateful if you can make a short tutorial for this 😅

Hey Mate. I saw you doing punch bag with bare hands ( no gloves ). I did the same way several time but it always made scratch ( wounds) in my skins that took few days to recover. I wonder if your bag is different or you learn to conditioning your hand ? Or did you get similar issues. Sorry for my bad English but I hope I can learn some experiences from you. Osu
@kyokushin-tobi3 жыл бұрын
It's conditioning but especially some kind of PU Leathers having so much grip that it simply burns your skin, especially heavy bags. I can hit a Makiwara pretty hard without bleeding, but my heavy bag always harms my hands. Currently I am hitzng a bit softer to condition my skin.

A lot of people don’t even expect a body shot that hard. This style of karates main week points are fighting at a distance as well as ground fighting. The head punching rule can be easily solved by just doing some boxing from time to time. This is my favorite karate style. But those guys scare the shit out of me. Like you kick them in the head and punch them in the body and they just don’t move. It honest to god scares me

*No hate* but you are actually performing the punch slightly wrong. I've been doing Kyokushinkai karate for 17 years and fight at a professional level. You are pulling your arm back too much before you hit with your punch, the punch should start from your elbow, there is no need to pull back, when you pull back yes it has more power but in effect it causes less damage because the opponent saw that slight movement, if you release it from your elbow your opponent will not be able to perceive it due to it being to fast to process and it will end up doing way more damage. the hip movement is great its just when you release your punch it is a bit wrong. I wish I can reply with a video to explain but hope that helps! osu

Honestly I think its a stupid rule. Its the reason why I stopped competing in karate. Other styles allow it, but its not full contact.
