Or chocolate sponge with pink custard. I used to mix it all up into a horrible soup-like substance and then the teachers came and told me off. Luckily there was a boy at our table who would literally eat anything. I remember one day it was semolina, none of us could stand it, so we pushed the plates round the table and he literally ate the whole lot, plate by plate. Then the teacher came over and praised us for eating all of our pudding. We had something to thank that boy for!
