Using GTA 5 taxi is easy, also I remember Tommy Vercetti used the taxi for the Spilling the beans mission to go to Malibu Club.

LCS and VCS: Only after you getting busted or wasted during the mission, the taxi is waiting for you and bringing to location where you restarting the mission.
