Isn't that the truth. I live in a Cali. We aren't even allowed to go to the beach let alone fish. This isn't the country we were promised. The Constitution & its God given rights doesn't exist hear. Founding fathers were right, an ever growing tyranical government is inevitable without watering the tree of liberty.

Fishing nets (as he showed us). Don't live near a river? You can do pheasant (wild turkey) traps/cages or make live animal rabbit traps (live traps so food is/stays fresh). All easy to do with very little investment, mainly time. An not all of us have forgotten how to do these things.

Same concept with birds. A simple trail of seeds or corn into a low area that leads into a cage (chicken wire), low enough for birds (pheasant, wild turkey, etc.) while feeding to get under. When they stand up to get out, they don't think to get low and go under wire the way they came into cage.

Thanks Phil. Up here in Northern Ontario we are not allowed to use nets but I really like yours. I also have my own pond, on farmland, so I may try it in that! (If I make one). I have heard that we might be able to apply to the MNR for a 'coarse fish permit' for some lakes. This is worth a try I would say. As to feeding sheep, what do you think of 1 Corinthians 14: near the end? Seems like all the men participate. Reading and singing the word. We women quietly critique, sing along, take notes and discuss with our husbands later? Sounds like fun to me.

He had that long wooden needle and he could work wonders with that needle, knitting nets. He taught me how to eat morell mushrooms. That was back in the fifties, my grandpa fished every week end and Had a fish fry every Sunday. First time I ate frog legs was back then.
