Please don't feel the need to change your speech! Aluminum is American, aluminium is (British) English. Both are correct. Plus, I enjoy your phraseology, just as it is. "Wetten your hair" is a favorite phrase in our house. Love your vids. I learn so much!

I like the way Brits pronounce words, "aluminium" has an almost melodic tone which I find pleasing. Another word, "controversy" is pronounced differently in Britain, tho not sure if it's spelled differently. I do love Hair Buddah's voice and diction, always clear and concise as well, love watching!

I’m an English professor (well, I was before I moved to the UK) and a genuine grammar expert (I teach academic writing to undergrads) and i absolutely LOVE your idiosyncratic grammar. Please don’t change it - it’s part of what makes you, you. (If you are writing a formal paper in English, then sure, you’ll want to edit for grammar, obviously.)

I love your accent! I have heard of other people who's first language isn't English, and they also talk about getting rid of their accent. I don't know, I like hearing it! Some sound really cute or sexy, or something! Idk, but I do know I like it! Even though I can be a "grammar nazi" it doesn't bug me when it's with people who don't speak the language as a first.

To clarify the ‘color won’t lift color’ rule, color won’t lift artificial color. It will lift natural color. Like Hair Buddha said, you may see a glimpse of color on top of your artificially colored hair, but it will not lift artificial color. Only natural color.😊

I'm from the UK, and we pronounce aluminum the same as you, from what I've seen, people from USA pronounce it like "aloo-minum". I think both are correct, it's just a dialect thing.

I think she either has very little cosmetology training or got advice from a student before attempting her highlights. Her sectioning is similar to what we did in our class this week practicing highlighting. She is also doing her highlights horizontally on top of a blunt cut which is supposed to be flattering for that hair style. Although, she did not really section accurately which I’m guessing would be why you can see where the highlights start on that strands. I love watching these videos to reinforce the information I am learning in my cosmetology program 😊

Aluminum Is how we say it in North America. It's aluminium elsewhere. It's even spelled differently on packages. So, both are correct, but given that you're in Europe, you should absolutely go with aluminium!

To be fair it is also spelled differently in USA "AlUmiNUM" There's no "Min*i*Um" like in uk or europe. My ex was from London and we looked together in the kitchen one day lol He slowly spelled it out with his mouth haha and went "oh!" lololol So both are correct!

Hb the aluminum pronunciation you use is how they say it in britain and the commonwealth . In the USA we say it the way you heard in a show or movie. Canada is a bit of both, they have a constant in flux from britain and also have a lot of american influence. So its really just up to you which way you want to go with it. ❤❤❤

In the uk, we say aluminium the first way you said it. It's a usa and Canada way to say it the second. I believe the first way is better scientificly as it is more consistent with other elements. For my part, please dont change the way you say it😂

Your way of saying aluminium is correct. Only Americans drop the "i" from the end. If you look in the periodic table of elements, it is spelt with an I so Americans pronounce it incorrectly. ( Australian-American here). 😊

I most always want to leave my hair natural near my scalp. At least 6 out of 10 times I drop a blob off bleach on my roots n not realize it until it's too late. That's so annoying! I take the time to do all that back combing just to mess it up
