I get why she bleached it. The back was almost fully grown out. What i don't get is, how this trend of platinum hair has warped people into thinking honey blonde, sandy blonde, Caramel blonde, etc are all "brassy" and "yellow" ummm hun, it's called natural looking 😂

But hairstylists aren't always right.... People always think because of my complexion I've warm undertones, but I don't. I got warm highlights and it washed me out. Generally, blond doesn't favor me, but silver, however, does. And, well, going grey by myself, tho. 😂 I do agree, tho. This whole blond washed her out, as well.

But I'm not educated,trained or experienced in hair at all , I just have an opinion and a little bit of free time🤣😂

I thought her hair looked better before. It had not just warmth to it to but it also had more dimension to. The blonde doesn't have that. But as long as she likes it that's what counts.

The end result itself was beautiful! Unfortunately, we had previous look to compare to, while it's not bad it's just not the same impact.

i feel like, of all the girlies that do their hair at home and put it on youtube, she did one of the best jobs. bleached her hair super evenly. unlike how splotchy it often is.

And with basically 40 volume since the 10 wasn't gonna be doing anything much maybe 35 volume but still like she wins best bleach application on KZbin award by herself with no help! Like I'm 😮😮😮 the whole time

Honey blonde looks good on warmer skin tones , I’m light olive skin and even though I can easily tan warm tones look horrible on me . They make me look sick and tired .

I guess I’m old too, bc I’m with Hair Buddha on this one & prefer a natural look. The final result just looked like a very ordinary old bleach job. Obviously not natural, okay job, I guess, but just has that bleached look. All she really needed were some highlights on her roots IMO.

I was blonde for about 3 weeks. My hair naturally is so dark that within a couple days i had dark brown hair peeking through. I did the blonde temporarily until i chose my next colour. I will NEVER do it again. Lol highlights are fine but full blonde is brutal 🙃

Technically, she did a good job, also with the cut. I think, the first look suited her complexion better, but I have to admit I get bored with my hair quite fast and sometimes, even though the current look suits me, I just don't feel like that's how I want to look anymore. The new one then maybe is technically not as good for my face shape, but I just feel good about it - that matters a lot.

She does her hair good like I did when I was younger. I was very talented at doing hair. That's why I went on to be a hair stylist, and now I'm a colorist at the salon that I'm at. The funny thing is I'm a Blonde specialist, but yet I don't keep my hair blonde. I'm naturally a dirty blonde,blah! I agree her hair color before matched her better.

I'm with you Buddha, she did a good job but I love a warm, rich tone. I'm medium brown and cover the grey. My stylist makes almost a cinnamon color. With my very fair skin and hazel eyes, love!

What product from cosmoprof would you suggest for smuging the roots in bleaching? I am a barber doing my own hair and am bleaching but don’t want drastic roots. ❤️

Prefer first with skin tone. Even if she pulled a bit of the dark out into a Carmel shade it just might have stopped the full bleach. I'm glad little damage and very shocked using 40 with 10.

My natural hair color when I was young was similar to the darker version. I liked all the highlights, especially in the summer when they became more pronounced. My hairstylist convinced me to dye it a darker once. Having kids, I never had time for makeup, so the darker color looked great with my eye and skin color, I’m no longer young and my hair has turn into that platinum color everybody seems to want. Except for when I have a tan, the color makes me look deathly pale, especially in photos. It won’t hold any color, so I’m stuck with it.

I love warm tones! Like a nice golden blonde (like she had in the beginning), copper, strawberry blonde or vibrant warm browns. I‘m very cool toned myself, so all of this looks awful on me, but I find it very beautiful on others.

I didn't care for the amount of warmth she had in her hair previously...maybe that's because I really dislike the natural amount of warmth in my own. I didn't really care for the end hair tone either as it totally washed her skin tone out. She would have looked gorgeous with a wheat color...but that's just my opinion.

Why are people so impatient! 🤦🏽‍♀️ Time and correct process are key - hence why salons cost money - but the time and money spent messing it up at home - should have just gone to the salon!!! Especially as end up there anyway to fix it so ends up costing more 🤯

I love the 1st color as well. When I was in my 20-30’s I was blonde. At 32 I got pregnant and stopped dying and bleaching my hair. I am now 47 and dyed my hair red for the 1st time in 14 yrs! I actually love it!

I think the way her hair looked before she bleached it matched her skin tone much better. At least before, it leaned on the more natural side. This? She’s totally fake, looks fake, no dimension and doesn’t match her tone. Your natural hair color matches you 100%. So when we go changing that, we need to alter our makeup to match the hair color. Tricky!

The first one was better. Very few people look good in really blonde hair. I think it looks better with darker skin tones. I also like a shadow root or lowlights to break it up. But it only matters if she likes it.
