Heya all! Pinned explanation for those who seek it out: as the chapter titles make note of, Orihime's actress changed this episode. While this is far from the first time this show has had to change VAs (Zangetsu, Ishida, Chad, Byakuya, Tessai, Orihime's fairies, Tatsuki, etc, etc), this one is particularly noticable since Mimi Mimoa had been with us since the beginning through eight years of episodes, compared to the others which were mostly between episodes 5 and 6. The reason we decided towas a good thing, so don't worry: there's no bad blood or anything. Simply put, Project Mouthwash almost enitrely works out of Vancouver, British Columbia. We all record in the same location for consistency and have even flown people up here from the states to keep the sound in-house. Mimi and her husband have both been doing phenomenally in their careers as actors and VAs over the last half a decade, and the two finally decided to move to LA. Staying in contact and arranging flights/recording sessions for them to come back simply became too complicated for a variety of reasons, so almost entirely due to proximity and circumstances we decided to recast and wish Mimi all the best with her career. Her work on the show has been phenomenal, but that's just how things go sometimes! Taking up the role is Katy Johnson. We actually did have Mimi's lines for this episode and a mix with her in it, but we decided to switch things over earlier and had Katy retake Orihime's scene. Katy isn't able to come in to our space to record, but she has access to home equipment that makes it a non-issue. We love her take so-far, and are excited to merge Mimi's take on Orihime with what Katy will bring to the role!

Espada 0 feels like a case of needing a strong obstacle to keep the side characters busy in HM, but every villain was either dead or in FKT so he erased the 1 from Yammy's 10 and buffed him tf up treating it like a crazy subversion. It technically makes sense, the only reason he wasn't sent on solo missions was because he's a dumb fuck and would kill too many souls, but nobody ever acknowledges Yammy as a sort of trump card in any capacity so it feels more like plot convenience than plot preparation.

Ok, so one thing I absolutely love about this series is the comedic timing / delivery of the lines. Every line is not a milisecond too early or too late, and the intonations of the voice actors are always on point. My favourite example of this would be the bickering between Soi Fon and Ichigo, but every joke Ulquiorra's involved in is elevated to the next level by perfect delivery + timing. Never fails to make me laugh. Love this abridged to bits

I believe you're omitting Digimon Tri Abridged, Digimon Abridged, HOTMON: A, patron-only song parodies and videos, behind-the-scene recording videos, making-of videos, the Bleach movies, mixing sessions, TTGL:TS, the unreleased content on the patron drive, access to English song covers, and that fact that we opened our Patron in 2016, by which point we had released the first two seasons entirely without it. In terms of sheer bulk of content, we're actually very proud of how much we've made, and the unique format of much of it~! Obviously, one isn't required to care about any of that, but our Patreon is there for people who want to help keep things going in an environment that is difficult to run against. Running the channel isn't cheap or easy with how KZbin is now.
