The versus series is very engaging. The quicker editing and the shorter length video keeps us wanting more. All of the fun stuff, no boring stuff lol.

Like both types of videos, the fast fun wheeling and the informative detailed builds! Also the Comancheep jumping is due to (if I remember right) antisquat which puts load on the links and can caust the suspension to jump like that. I did some research into this a while back, theres a great writeup online somewhere I can try to find if needed or interested?

I learned a lot this year, and thought I have less experience than others, I think engineering and ability in the shop makes the difference, and $$ makes that easier. Time is always more valuable than money, and we can never have enough of both at the same time.

Ive been watching the hell and back. I want to commend you on your rig and your ability to drive that rig to its fullest and then some. You impressed me more than once with what you did with it!

I like the comancheep better. Just a decent built tough old truggy, no flash, no high dollar parts. If it had A/C and set of tires from this decade it would be a very well-rounded all weather wheeler.

The scorpion did great considering you were going up a rushing river!! You need sticky tsl’s in the comancheep!!

If you damage or blow an ORI, you are pretty much done. A coilover can still get you home.

Those are both badass rigs Matt , you should be proud. I kinda knew that the Scorpion 🦂 would win because it's lighter and it has rear steer. I think maybe if The Comanche had rear steer it might win. Thanks for another Awesome video guy's 📹 love the verses.

My dream truck right now is a chevy c50 or c60, on a m813 5ton 6x6, With a chopped frame, to shorten it and a matching year bed. The bed would have to be modified to cover the rear tandem at the wheel well. Perhaps extending the cab 6 to 10 inchs behind the driver for comfort, but keeping the total wheel base as short as practical. Ps. Could you four link a 5 ton tandem. Would it enhance the ride in anyway? Could I get more travel from the rear? And could a person make that rear steer ?

Capability per dollars spent, seems obvious to me that the heep takes it on that one. I'm very interested in building a low buck rig. What do you see as a short list of mods that'll get a rig the farthest off road?
@jonaathansimons79385 күн бұрын
1) Lockers Before Lightbars! {even shoebox (Spartan, etc.) or lincoln-locker type get you a very long way} 2) Inflation system so you can air down for the trail and still drive it home 3) Driver mod...learn your rig and how to pick lines 4) See #1

@bleepinjeep5 күн бұрын
Both have their pros and cons, I like Oris for packaging purposes but they are expensive.

@bleepinjeep come on man that's all for a vs scenario!? Neither are cheap. Give us a quick vid of what is better where. Like when,why,how would you do them differently

@michaelhancock9636 well not so much. Looking to drop a couple of grand on either coilovers or ORIs. Couple of grand maybe entertainment for you but not for most people. I feel Bleepin does a good job on reviews and explaining stuff. He has both and simply want his opinion
