Till 26:07 everything worked fine but then I imported the faces, they don't show up, just the matrix display is there :( P.S I tried everything. I did a render, turned on cyclic and auto-refresh and when I change the color node to alpha it only shows a white face :( EDIT: I FOUND A FIX!!! Whoever has the same problem as me, just connect "alpha" to "texture" instead of "color" to "texture" then click Shift+A and put in a Color Ramp node in between. Now the faces will appear and you can change it to any color you wish :) Thank me later

If you are having problems when applying the face material image sequence, the following may help you. When I was trying to apply the sequence, my first attempt showed all pixels as green (lit) - My problem was that while importing images the files were being sorted by Date Modified. Try importing the image sequence again, this time ensuring that the import folder is sorted by Name in Descending Order. LMB (left mouse button) Click Face_1.png then scroll down and LMB shift+click Face_25.png then click Open Image. Your screen should now work as intended however if you set your Texture Node's Frame Offset to less than 0 or greater than 24 then you will be out of the bounds of the image sequence and the screen will default to all green (lit) again. To fix this set the Texture Node's Frame Offset back within the range of 0-24, the screen will still persist as green, so to fix it toggle Texture Node Image Sequence to Single Image, the face will reappear and then toggle back to Image sequence to regain the Frame controls. Protip: Each time you want to try import the image sequence again, set the Outliner's Display Mode to Blender File, this allows you to delete previous imported images / sequences and prevents confusion.

This was a good tutorial. Hit a few of the similar hurdles mentioned by others in the comments and overall I feel like it was super rushed towards the end. I feel like this would have made a great three part series. Part 1 modelling the robot. Part 2 texturing and materials and Part 3 animating. Don't get me wrong I really appreciate the amount of information and techniques you've managed to cram into this tutorial but the pace of the tutorial almost negates the learning process by getting to the last 5 minutes and rushing to the end. I had to check if I missed the next part because it feels like the creation I've made at my end is so far from what is shown in the thumbnail. Either way I really do appreciate all your hard work and thanks for putting out this great content.

As a beginner myself, I highly recommend other beginners to research 'DRIVERS' and challenge yourself to add a driver to treads that's controlled by the main control.
