Thanks Joe. It can be tricky for me sometimes too. This shot wasn't too bad since there is lots of parallax from the environment and some ok tracking points in the foreground and background.

Great tutorial thanks. But i think there is a poblem in this composition. When you make a track in Blender apply Lens distortion and you lose left and right pixel from de original plate. If you render the vfx layers with that camera solve, this render layers lose that pixels too, and if you send your layers to the compositor person for example in nuke, when he make composition will get a trunk bounds in the vfx layers from blender. Its a problem in blender that does not have in the render options a overscan render layers, and makes a tedious Pipeline in blender resolve this problem.

Hi Ton, It works in 2.93 but Mantaflow seems to have glitches. I recommend using 2.92 for a more controllable explosive result for your simulations. What would you like to learn about cablecam to AE? Anything specific?

Just putting in the image planes in a proper compositing package that can do 3D like NukeX and Fusion would be easier ;) that’s the whole reason it was created.

Hi Sinelihle. This is footage from Artgrid. You would have to purchase a subscription to their site. I recommend you find some similar stock footage on Pixabay.com if you want something inexpensive to follow along with.
