All free blender assets. He played animator with free assets no skill involved. This would have taken him half a year if he modeled everything himself. The only object that looked like his modeling work was the piece of cake/pie whatever it was.

@@Bak3DNormal sounds like a you problem. i dont have anything against him using pre-made assets. animation is already incredibly time consuming. there's no need to waste that precious time modelling and rigging when you have the choice not to.
@Bak3DNormal

True animation is incredibly hard to do properly and well, but this is nowhere near that. It's passable for a fairly beginner person in the field of animation but it's very rough. Theirs some serious understanding missing from this example and video that is very misleading to any viewers who don't understand the pipeline or workflow of having a real well-animated, textured, composed, lit, composited, sound-designed, and rendered product. Sure you can't cover that in 10 mins and wasn't his adjective, and yes technology is allowing good artists to pump out higher-quality work. But I'm just being realistic that this is bad and shouldn't be taken seriously in any way other than for inspiration and for people to gain interest in learning it properly. Although for 2 months of work, it's not bad for someone at his level.

@@Bak3DNormalWtf, animators do not make their models on their own. They pay someone to do them or, as in this case, they get them for free. That's better anyway! Everyone says you should specialize on a part of the job and not to be involved to each part... Companies will hire one employee for one job, not all the work. Besides, animation is really difficult on its own

Extremely impressive. I believe some textures need more realism. for example, the dog bowl and the collar, have so much more stylized photorealism then the walls or the floors.

There are so many Blender tutorials focusing on technical stuff, how to do donuts etc, those are of course needed but very few videos actually is focusing on animation, styles, esthestics and film-creation. I think this video is quite unique, also due to that it requires a lot knowledge and hard work. There is nothing anymore that can stop film-creation more than our passion and hard work put into it

5:50 STORYTIME: I graduated 3 months ago cinematography school, and at my final exam I had to draw two people, where one was holding the other bride-style, I was struggling, so I just got up, asked my lightest classmate if she was doing well and could give me a second, and when she said yes I got her, picked her up and used it for reference to see how my arms were positioned. It was really fun, the exam went super well I got one of the highest scores! And my classmate got a nice one too😂

@@kevin.rippitsch in Italy schools are divided by field, you have science school, you have language, you have art, and some of them are decided by branches, I went to art school, took the branch of (literal translation) “audiovisual and multimedia” basically we made photos and videos and studied cinema’s history. The final exam consisted in planning a short video, which is what we’ve mostly learnt throughout the years.. they gave us a topic and we had to make a title, a subject, a shooting script, a storyboard, an animatic and a recap of all the things we’ve done and the choices we’ve made. Quite cool if you ask me, if everything was as fun as that final exam was I’d probably do it again

Bro the moment that womans' silhouette literally flies towards the door looks so hilarious. It could be a good moment for a horror animation but it needs to be fixed asap c:. Overall I like the animation but I think you should play with lighting a bit more. It looks kinda dark inside. The outside scene feels a bit toyish especially on 8:56 ig it's because grass is moutionless. Try adding some minor details like more dog toys lying on the ground.

If we do live in a computer simulation then people should take a photo of something really insignificant like a patch of grass or some weeds in their yard, upload it to social media and see if anyone else in the world has the EXACT same patch of grass or weeds. Because reusing elements seems to be 3D designs seems to be standard practice.
