Trish, you are so amazing and awesome, you just really have no idea how much you teach us just by showing and sharing your spinning and weaving!!! Especially while you are in the process of doing them!!! You are such a generous person and "You do You!" Is the absolute best you can do for us!!!!! You always being kind and so sweet thinking of is amazing, however------you doing your thing is what drew me to your wonderful self and channel in the first place! It's also what keeps me coming back video after video!!!! Don't change anything that you want to do with YOUR channel!!! YOU ARE THE DRAW HERE! Remember that and always remember that WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU TOO! Take care and stay you!

What a great idea! I never would have thought to leave the fiber thick, but I can surely see the benefit. As far as your "discussion", the way you travel on your own journey is what attracted all to us to you in the first place. So just do you! God, family, work is the proper order of life so never apologize for doing it correctly. We are so grateful for your sharing and encouragement and I hope you receive that back from all of us too. Blessings to you both.

My goodness Gerry, I couldn’t have put it better myself!! I know I don’t comment very often, but just want you to know Trish that a big part of why I follow your channel is because of you….. your love for us - “your fibre people”, the love you put into all your videos, & all the beautiful things you create. On top of that, you are a great encourager & your happy smiles make my day!!!! I do often wonder, with all the hard work you put into your channel, if there is enough time left for “you”. So pleased that life balance is at the top of your list. I’m so grateful to you for all that you do Trish…… I’ve learned so much from you so thank you so much!!!! Very intrigued & excited to see where this next leg of your journey takes you & I will continue to follow along with you for as long as you are willing to share. I also pray blessings for both you & John. xxx

Love this technique. The wool becomes softer looking when you blend it. Makes you want to just reach out and touch it. I have a similar story with the public. Spent 8 years doing IT customer service. Never again. Ever. People can be the best, or they can be at their worst when you work with the public. To this day, I tell everyone I am retired. I can't stand to hear a phone ring, and after I got married the second time I would wake up with nightmares from it all. Keep up the great work! ❤

About 3 years ago I taught myself to weave by finding things on KZbin. I found you but you had a lot more spinning/dying/knitting videos than weaving. But, like you, I'm an introvert and I found out I loved to watch you do stuff that I don't even want to do. So I watched every video you ever posted. You are a fun, casual, easy-going, humble person and a spontaneous artist and I don't need to learn anything from you or even be interested in your specific fiber arts to enjoy hanging out with you, watching you do your thing. Since I'm 68 years old and not that interested, I don't know what is possible on social media these days or what I'm missing by not twitting and tweeting and meme-ing and duck-lipping, whatever. I just like to see Luther and Gus and John and your house and your weather and the comments from fiber artists all over the globe and feel the sisterhood of us all. Thanks for keeping it up. I miss you when you're gone.

Hello, just discovered your channel. I’ve recently been intrigued by spinning. I don’t know how to spin yet. However, I’ve been learning so much by watching your channel as well as other spinning channels. I learned how to knit about 4 years ago. When I first learned that people still spin their own yarn, I thought why in heck would anyone want to do all that work to make yarn when they could just buy it. Plus, when I’ve watched knitting channels that talked about spinning, it seemed like a lot to learn. I see, know, what all the excitement is all about. Keep the videos coming. 💜💜💜

I relate to so much of what you chatted about, from the yarn stash to figuring out your next right thing. Do what is best for you. Just hearing that someone else is facing the same challenges is heartening. Also, I am off to make some rolags from some merino/stellina I got in a Paradise Fibers subscription maybe March 2021 that I am struggling to spin. @@FiberLoveDiary For me, I think it’s just the motion of having to continuously stop and pull another length of fiber off the top, folding it over and making sure you’re holding it properly and joining it properly. Combine that with having to make sure to stop and move your hook on the flyer and before you know it, “It’s been 84 years….”

Don't know how I missed this. So now I have to get a blending board! Glass things are getting back to normal now so I hope I have time for some weaving. And, you have to do you. You can't please everyone. And, that sweater is lovely! Handmade?
