Well Prodigy would learn Syncs knowledge, but that's all. Sync would gain Prodigy's power then gain all of Prodigy's knowledge. So two smart dudes walking around absorbing all knowledge. Though Sync would eventually lose Prodigy's powers when he leaves his side and then all the knowledge as well.

I wish they’d give him his own solo series. Being that he has a penchant for working in areas outside of just mutant scenarios and he has his powers back and can retain knowledge he absorbs. I think it would be great to see him go on a sabbatical to accumulate as much knowledge as possible, create a enterprise and then moonlight as a vigilante. A kind of Batman type hero that utilizes gadgets, magic, and his tactical and combat knowledge. There are so many possibilities to go with that direction.

Mad Love for the Full story about Prodigy. I initially felt he was a Synch Knockoff, but he's thoroughly different and a definitive standout character on his own. I DO... However, I think it's bullshit for Emma and Mirage, who literally conjures peoples WORST nightmares, to "predict" what Prodigy would be like in the future if his powers were unlocked. I don't see people putting locks on Cyphers, Shadowcat or Jubilee who have ALL be quoted as having potential to be definitively powerful in the future. They basically nerfed the brother. Reed Richards, Hank Pym and T'Challa are doing just fine with super intelligence. How about giving the lowdown on Bling and Monet St. Croix?

For Magic stuff, even if he knows how to use it doesnt mean its gonna work or work well. If 100 people use a simple spell they learned, probably only 10 people would have it activate. You have to have magic capabilities to do powerful spells. Perhaps he has nearly no aptitude for it. But he could write all the magic stuff down and catalog it for others. Also just because he has knowledge it doesnt mean he can utilize it well. That comes from Wisdom, not Intelligence. I will admit his power truly is OP and if I was him I would find a way to become the most powerful being I possibly can be. Learn to utilize magic or get magical equipment I can use if I have no aptitude for magic. Build Tech I have knowledge of and can utilize. etc...

@@tmd-w1552 His intelligence for engineering and science is his best aspect. it's all about acquiring the same solution through a repeatable process. But combat, strategy, and tactics differ. Think about how athletes have good games and bad games. They always have the same knowledge, but why do they perform bad sometimes. It's your ability to use the knowledge you have. Sometime you can make a bad judgement call based on feelings and emotion. If Cyclops and Prodigy did a danger room exercise. Most likely Cyclops would get better results from his long term wisdom as a leader.

Another fantastic summary, I liked Prodigy from the beginning in his New X-men debut but knew little of his development beyond the series besides being de-powered and now appearing on Krakoa as a member of X-Factor. He's definitely gained a lot of depth. Grateful for the update.

Prodigy is what Taskmaster wishes he could be. So much potential. If he could figure out how to stay a hero with his limits released he would be able to help solve a ton of problems and would arguably be one of the most dangerous non-powered combatants in Marvel... Well, actually depending on who is around he already is one of the most dangerous non-powered combatants in Comics because he would body Batman if literally anyone else that could fight or think was around while they fought. If that's a stretch to you, I will get out of the way of Batman's god-level plot armor because that's the only thing that could protect him. Thank you, Ernie! Between Prodigy and Jamie (Multiple Man), both of them give a run for the money against Hank McCoy, Reed/Valeria Richards, Anthony Stark, Riri Williams on genius levels. Prodigy could stand next to Reed, Dr. Doom, Tony/Riri and Valeria and pick up their abilities in a flash. Jamie just works via his duplicates, merges back and has absorbed the information, which makes it incredible concept on the Resurrection Protocols. When Synch returned from the vault it was indicated that his cerebro backup was larger than when he departed. It would seem that Prodigy and Jamie would both of them would have the same situation as knowledge growth of both would increase everytime, a new set of skills/knowledge was acquired and if both were constantly accumulating new skills/knowledge into cognitive ability, it would increase exponentially everytime it kicked in.

@@karmabum21 I don't know if you have noticed but black and brown characters newly created as of late must also be in a sexual minority, it's just like an employer that will hire a black woman to fill the quota of both a female minority and minority...minority. I appreciate diverse characters but I don't like that black and brown characters have to check every box for inclusion. (Prodigy, America Chavez, Green Lantern- Sojourner Mullein, The new Future State Flash, The New Warriors, etc...)

I was still into Comics when Prodigy debuted i was determined to to fall in love with the New X-men?academy X cause I got Burned with the way Generation X got treated. But I fell in love despite myself, though post Messiah Complex I did drop marvel. I really disliked what they did with the X-men and their treatment under Quesada and heirs.
