Thanks! I got our blinds fixed with this video. 🙂👍

Thank you for this video! Just what I needed to repair one of my blinds! Somehow that "geared" wheel fell out and we never noticed it on the floor. Fortunately we had a second blind that we were getting rid of and I used the mechanism from it. My blinds had a sort of a "bobby pin" looking wire that held the mechanism in. A little more difficult to put in but we managed it.

Thank you very much for your easy to follow, quick and simple instructions. I did this just to see if I could, as useful to know, even though they needed disposing of as old, and I did it!

Thanks for this. My cord lock has actually broken, so needs to be replaced. I'll need to source one before I embark on a repair.

How do I adjust a stringer is sagging

The video description says that you show a way to fix this without replacing the part, but in the video you show how to replace the part. You don't show how to fix it without replacing it.

Try threading all of the cords to on side of the cordlock centre bar , this puts more pressure on the cordlock and makes it lock harder . It might work .

What do you do if the tension is too tight? Blinds go up and down, but it's really hard.

try spraying silicone spray in the cord lock to free it up
