Nice that you're back, Shark! You should still take a look at the book since most of the fairy tales didn't get animated, like the one about Ozpin's philosophical and psychological journey or the mythological origin of the Faunus. Maybe read the RWBY manga as well, both are the GOAT.

If you noticed, The Warrior in the Woods she's Modeled to look kind of like a Fantasized version of Summer Rose in a sense With the Boy basically being how Tai was visualizing the boy As Tai was telling the story to Ruby and Yang What we see as the Story, is how Tai is Visualizing said story So the characters in Tai's Mind are The Boy = Himself The Warrior in the woods = Summer (Of course not the Real version but a Dramatized Fantasy version of her) Or more so The Warrior is like an Amalgam of both Summer and Raven here The Silver eyes are most definitely a trait he referenced from Summer

I read the book before the series came out and it was neat to read and make connections between myth and reality for the RWBY universe.

YASSS! FINALLY! To be honest, i wish these episodes were longer, so much was cut from the stories that were in the book they are adapting. And i'm extra sad that my personal favorite fairytale "Infinite man" wasn't adapted. Gimme more Ozes you cowards! Well, at this point it's safe to assume that about half of fairytales are based on real events, some are very loosely inspired by them and some are just stories

YES! FINALLY! And V9 so soon?!? Heck yes! I've actually never seen the RWBY fairy tale videos (except for Grimm Child?), was planning to read the book/comic/whatever versions of the fairy tales first, but fuck that, I'm watching this!

Yaaaay finally Volume 9 is coming!!!!!. Don’t really care about these but I’m am hyped for Volume 9! “3-5 more volumes”. Sorry Shark, but we’ll be incredibly lucky to even just get a movie to tie up loose ends. They’re having difficulty even getting the next volume greenlit.

I mean, I'm aware V10 isn't greenlit, but I'd still expect it to probably happen eventually. It's just a different process now given there's other companies involved. Nothing about the numbers it produced on Crunchyroll among other stats makes me think the show is in significant danger of not getting renewed. I could be wrong of course, but when the series is in limbo, all you can really do is ask the fandom to push it. Definitely wouldn't expect V10 to happen until 2025 though. I'd imagine the RWBY/Justice League content to also be related to why it hasn't yet been greenlit.
