As a person diagnosed with adhd in my 30s and currently in the process of a diagnostic process to rule out/diagnose autism, it was actually nice to see Rick address it. He always has been vocal about mental health so it's nothing new but I have been keeping off the autism diagnosis because of my fears and internal biases- so this was actually in a way comforting and reassuring. I should probably stop postponing my appointments 😅

I had a ADD diagnose since I was a kid, I'm 26 now. Never had any education on it and just tried to live with it. When life got alot, I just kept going & coped in ways that weren't healthy. It resulted in the form of a burn out. Two years further now and I'm still in the middle of healing from that, simply because I always neglected it and didn't knew it was the real cause of my issues. Acceptance is the first step, gets alot easier from there.

Of all the Blindwave video intros, this might be one of the best. Very much looking forward to this, because Tom Hardy as Venom is just a pure popcorn cinematic delight. I'm quite looking forward to seeing what they do with the story (since the overall space theme of Venom's world locating him and that bringing about an end, it seems like it's giving the sense of the impending threat from the *_King in Black_* arc in the comics even if it isn't explicitly using Knull).

@@settingz2099 how does any other daignoses work? It's the same. Most neurodevelopmental/psychiatric diagnosis also include several hours of thorough assessments added to the medical records where the diagnosis is. Similar to how some diagnosis have test results attached to them.

If that's the case, then the benefit of having a diagnosis is to have a word to put on your situation. To know that you're not crazy and that what you're going through is normal. To learn from other people in your situation. To more quickly communicate your situation to others (for example, Rick just had to say that he's autistic in this video and with this one word, most people understood what he was sharing. Another example could be at the doctor's/psychiatrist's office).

After the doctors reviewed the results, they shared them with me in a video call, explaining that I was in fact on the spectrum and how to best care for the symptoms. I got an email with the entirety of the test results and now Autism Spectrum Disorder is on my permanent medical file. Receiving a diagnosis that explained why I've struggled so much with things that are simple and basic and easy to people with hardly functioning brains was HUGE. Being told that, yes, I am wired differently than "normal" people and it's okay and that I don't have to hide my quirks was HUGE. Besides having it in my medical history, just being vindicated about being odd was enough.

That not Mordo, it’s a variant from Venom’s universe.
