Kait I remember seeing Alkaline Trio in 1998 at a park by my house here in the Chicago area where they are also from. Maybe 40/50 people there and I knew then how talented they were. I hope Matt is happy playing in Blink182, of course I loved that band back in the day. I think Alkaline Trio was where he was at his best and hope they still get out and play/write still.

Definitely. It's not that I'm opposed to Darkside as a music video, but I think this album was a perfect time for a music video writer to sit down with them and help them realize that we've all grown up with blink-182. I'd say a good majority of Blink fans could listen to "On Some Emo Shit" and perfectly relate to those lyrics. A darker, more mature music video to match with that song would've been perfect. blink-182 is such an iconic name for so many people yet they're still managing to muck it up when all they need to do is reinforce their new content instead of focusing on features, side projects, and/or interviews.

THIS! Love Mark for keeping Blink alive. To me, Blink has been Mark since the hiatus in 2005. Not shadowing any member of the band but Mark is the heart of the band. Scott was great, Tom was great, Travis is fucking bonkers and Matt is phenominal in the band. But people Keep focusing on why's better (Tom or Matt). Doesn't matter. Both are a given member to me, they're great in their own way. But the band Blink-182 wouldn't be were they are today without Mark today. LET'S HERE IT FOR MARK!! Love the man

Nine is amazing. It's such a shame they never did a tour for it, and in light of the current events, they really couldn't do a belated tour now if they wanted to. Either way, I'm super excited to see what they make next. Also, I get that they do it because they know it'll get headlines, but I wish interviewers would stop asking about Tom. They've said all that needs to be said. Tom's moved on, and so has blink. Tom's heart hasn't been in the band since before the breakup. Just let the man follow his actual passions, and let the guys in blink that actually want to be there keep making awesome music.

I love these guys to death, I really apreciate matt covering mark's and travis back since tom left but, after neighborhoods (wich isnt my blink 182 favorite album too), I think mark lost his north and well travis he said that he always has been a musical whore, what means it does not really care if he'd be out cuz he be engagin a lot of side projects due to his autist like type talent on drums, but the reality may be that they be trying so hard sounding like something and when tom was in the van they just played songs they enjoyed creating, it was more about enjoying themselves. Its fair to fantasize maybe tom could make an awesome comeback at least on studio, but well i got no more but love for each of them

I personally enjoy their new music. I think people would enjoy it more if they had changed their name when Matt joined. People hear Blink-182 and want that punk band from their early stuff but if you listen to their new stuff without trying to compare and reminisce I think everyone would be able to enjoy them more. Tom DeLonge.... I know that you know more than most of us when it comes to the truth, the unseen technology and life forms that are actually out etc, and why it does get revealed slowly but surely and why they chose to do it in a specific way....I learned from you to Never stop questioning what you feel is correct even when facts are not revealed. When I saw you in 1999 on MTV I know that All the Small things might seem like it is kind of mainstream, but to me it was never something like that. I laughed and it made me feel amazing because all the little small things are actually the massive things in life that actually matters. I mean we all know most of us know that the truth is kept secret. But together we can stand together and expose the truth. The song "Where is the love" also had a major influence with the lyrics they used that is definitely out there. I might be classified as unusually optimistic but I will never lose hope. I love the fact that you say that divorce is definitely a way to see it as a kind of rebirth. Nothing that "dies" is really death it is a way of looking at things in a different light or as a opportunity to open new doors. The way you look at things to actually see it as a beautiful new opportunity is an amazing way of looking at life experiences. I mean one of my favorite songs is definitely still "Stay together for the kids" that alone made me respect you so much more. At that time though we were well off but it kind of separated my family more in a sense just by having money. I saw it as a way to get rid of me. So I totally get and your reasons behind it. I was always a "people-pleaser" if I can put it in that way. You kind of lose yourself by doing things like that because you neglect yourself and forget who you are as person. I didn't even know what I actually liked anymore. By the way I can not believe that you actually said: " I can't believe people actually remember that song (Aliens Exist, in another article). I was like: " WHAT???? That track in particularity confirmed everything I questioned. How can you even think that? I memorized every single song, album and the track numbers on your albums. Correct me if I am wrong but Angels and Airways looks like an abbreviation for your baby girl who will always remain your little girl AVA. You saved my life, through your lyrics in your former band Blink 182 and the many other bands you were in,. Bands like The Offspring, Sum 41, Nirvana Get Scared, Falling in Reverse and My Chemical Romance ( The Black Parade album art I chose go on my right arm as a sleeve) and then Eminem also had huge influences in my life. The Blink 182 logo I still need to implement somewhere. Through lyrics with the deep meaningful expressions to just name a few. I Probably wouldn't have been here today. Thank you for always being there . Your words helped me cope in life where there was nothing and no one to turn to other than you, your bands that you were in. Knowing I have someone out there who relates. The fact that you actually want to change people's lives just by speaking your mind...
