I'm an Instructor within Krav Maga, and I absolutely love your videos. The explanations of defensive and offensive tactics you show are amazing. I apply these principals I see within my own drills and scenario-based training with my students. Don't stop posting these great videos!

Brilliant videos as always I used to stand in those poses when working on the doors in pubs back in the 90's London when a punter started mouthing off when I used to refuse them entry for what ever reason. Very good position to react fast. I can see the original Geoff Thomson techniques in there who started this off originally, when others wanted to stick to traditional styles which didn't work.

God i miss Krav Maga class. This is such an excellent at home study guide. A superb example of predator/prey dynamic shift. As an aside, a lot of people talking about how attacking first may not be considered self defense. If your would be attacker is constantly pushing up on you and acting erratic or aggressive or both and you keep trying to get distance but they won't stop, you don't have to wait for them to knock you out. If you're being threatened and you believe bodily harm is imminent, striking first is still self defense.

When i am grown up i want to be able to move (almost) like this! ;-) (It is so amazing to watch (and study!) the body mechanics of each of the UC instructors and especially of Lee! BA-BAAM, palm, hammer, hammer, elbow, knee, takedown... superb mechanics and "Blitz-" / Lightningspeed! High Line, Low Line... overwhelming and "powderizing" the bad guy... my greatest respects to you guys + hoping to see you (Michiel) "live" here in Frankytown one day!)

My Dad taught me some of these attributes back in the 80s- mostly in reference to protecting face and head from headbutts and the repeated overhands. Went onto Kali stuff, before going to ‘reality’ classes for years which featured a lot of the attributes etc of UC dipped into Savate and other MMA stuff. Really think this is great - trying to revise these days!! I disagreed with my instructor about counterattacks inside to the bicep (even with other tactics, and contingencies in mind -or applied simultaneously and based on that statisticly most likely swinging attack.) it just wasn’t my experience. Very similar stuff but really making sense! Thanks- just hope the Neds aren’t watching;) Yours Aye!

I had to watch like 10 videos to subscribe. Looks legit, and your experience as a bouncer is also good. I am tired of some sports trainers, teaching how to fight on streets. I come from a boxing background, that is not enough in certain situations. Thanks for sharing, hope to get some work in the near future. Keep up !

Let me tell you all another reason why you should stand like Michiel says, and what i say now, is certified, and is being used... If you find yourself in a situation of danger, it is important that you stand like Michiel, cause if your hands ✋ is over your heart ❤ you cannot Freeze, the Navy Seals do this all the time, when entering a building, if you see videos of soldiers, look how they carry their weapons, over the heart, if you hands are just hanging down, you could easily Freeze, and does get hit, and by standing like Michiel, you don't send out signal to the other guy, that you wanna fight, fighting is also a psychological game, this is Only my own personal opinion, do what you like... - Stay Blessed - - Peace - 🙏❤✌

I like it. Blitzkrieg from a non telegraphic “ non violent posture” transitioning to a dynamic counter (closest weapon closest target). Fight back fast, no pause in conflict. 👍
