I joined 4-H when I was nine! It is why I started sewing. We would enter our projects in the local county fair. There also was a fashion show where we modeled our latest sewing projects. There was also a picture in the local paper of me and 2 other girls in our outfits. So much fun, and I learned so much including cooking projects.

Love your Barn Star Quilt! Still haven't started Festival & Fireworks but am making progress on my great granddaughter's quilt. I was a Girl Scout from Brownies thru Senior Scouts but always thought 4H would have been fun. But, alas, we lived in town. Love the new goodies and just had to order the tumbler. Your one topic today reminded me of a saying that I believe applies to humans, too. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink...lol! Relax, you do an awesome job! I usually check for viewing times. I only have my phone and an older tablet my 10 year old grandson gifted me. No computer and no printer. I just turned 70. Thank you for your patience. The little money I get is spread pretty thin. I do make quilts and gifts of comfort to give.

Happy Anniversary. Much to the displeasure of my mom I was not a June bride. My husband was in the military so he wanted to be home for Christmas anyway. Our anniversary is December 27, 1975. Plus I'm was a farm girl from my dad's side. I didn't want him and my 3 uncle's thinking they should be bailing hay! It was bad enough they had to find someone to feed and milk the cows regardless of when we got married.😂 Love listening to you.

We hit 40 years at the end of May. I married a guy you may know :). He was an Air Force brat. I think you may have gone to school with his sister. They were in Wiesbaden from 1960 - 1966. His father was a Colonel so they lived on based. I am always tickled when you tell stories similar to his about living in Europe during the 60's.

Happy anniversary to you and Greg. I was a July bride and made my dress as well. My pictures are about the same as yours and we drove off in our car. I love the shirt but won’t wear it with my big upper arms. I only wear short sleeves if they come down almost to my elbows. I don’t know if anyone else has that issue besides me. I did buy some of your other shirts and the quality is amazing. I crack people up when I wear my May the 1/4” be with you shirt. I love your channel. It always brings a smile to my face.

Happy Anniversary! I wanted to be a May bride so I could have Lily of the Valley in my bouquet but my Dad had a Christmas Club at the bank to save for wedding and that money was available for our October wedding so no May wedding...we will be 47 this year. I was also a 4-H member for about 10 years, both our daughters were members for 10 years. Our youngest was also the 2000 Fair Queen! I was an advisor for 15 years too. It is a great organization!

I was a 1980 bride, too. Only made it to 40 years as hubby passed away unexpectedly in January 2021☹️☹️. We got married in October 1980, and had a professional photographer. HOWEVER, the dang guy we hired sent a “helper” who left before we even cut the cake😡😡😡!! You can’t relive those moments, though. Ended up not really paying for the pics, but, then, no one else was able to get any pics. And all we have are “the proofs.” Ugh. Other family took photos, but still didn’t have all that I had wanted. My mom took several rolls of pics. And everyone’s head was cut off😱😱!! And she had MULTIPLE copies made of all the headless people😳😳😳!! Why?!? Why would you pay for really BAD pictures over and over?!? Funny what you remember about your wedding day, right? Oh, well. The memories are still in my head and heart.🥰🥰🥰🥰.
