I truly believe Blockbuster went out of business because of their ridiculous high prices, my local video store “Video Spot” so awesome only charged $1.00 for old movies and $2.00 for new release. I have awesome memories renting movies and games, plus the owner had really cool arcades so you can play like Metal Slug and Marvel vs Capcom 2.

The only thing I didn’t like about blockbuster back in the day is that you didn’t get to take home the vhs box and enjoy the box art, summary, and critic blurbs (“****. Seeing this film once is not enough.”-Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun Times). I get why they did it though. They wanted the shelves to look full at all times.
