Watching your methods came in handy a few months ago. The main line into the basement developed a leak at a clean-out access point. It is cast iron so I cleaned it up only to find someone had used a screw-in coverplate on a three-tab anchor access. Well, I grabbed the butane torch, cleaned up all surfaces, and heated them up. I coated the screw cap with silicone, pushed it into the opening, and secured it with true, water-proof, "duck tape". I filled any crevice between the pipe and cap with silicone, pushed it in with a glove-covered finger, and secured it with more duck tape. It may be ugly but it's dry as a bone!

Sticking a piece of cardboard in front of the small jet, or even one of it's rear jets would show the power it has. On my gun, I found a PVC fitting, I think 2"? was the perfect size to hold the trigger on. I tied it to the gun with a piece of para cord so that it is always there. Even a piece of wood cut to the right size would free your hand to work the hose. I also found a gun that has a trigger on lock, simple to use, easy to release.

Loved the video, Oliver. I like the way the work is more important than subscribers or likes to you. Not a problem for me. I subscribed to your channel ages ago and always leave a like for your videos. Could I ask, not complaining mind you, but why didn't you just use the circular diamond cutter to cut into the steel pipe? Would it not have been easier, and easier to seal afterwards. But again, I am not doing the job you are. I love all your videos Oliver, you are so reserved and polite to other workers on the job, but especially so to customers, even when they ask so many questions of you during the job. You are a very patient man Oliver, which also comes across in your interactions with your son and brother. Keep those videos coming Oliver, no one would believe unblocking drains could be so exciting and watchable. Oliver, you make it look so easy, but because of this, we tend to forget how skilled you are at the job.
