At this time I don't think they knew it but they were actually even bigger in Japan then they were here in the US. Life sure was much different, much simpler and more wholesome back then. Guess that's why it's called the good old days. At the time no one would have guessed the long-term cultural and historic significance of that band. But here we are almost 50 years later still talking about and fondly remembering, Blondie
