Blood Bowl 2 - Skill Rundown and Assignment [General, Agility, Strength, Passing]

Thouse are my personal oppinions on the skills: Dauntless is highly situational at best, it only works on the attack and is basicly useless on the defense. The skill is without a doubt not foulproof by any strech of the imagination, a regular Str.3 against a Str.5 comes down to 50% chance, and against a Str.4 its the equivalent of a "go for it" and every veteran blood bowl player can sing a song about the many ways thouse can screw you. This skil should only be taken if you run into many teams with Str. 4 and above Players and only once you got the more important skills like block, guard, doge etc. first. Counters frenzy, and stops bahy players from following up to mark your player after a Pusch, defender down or stumble, forcing him to send another unit to do it or leaving your guy alone. Block+Doge+Fend Players are Nightmare to deal with. Frenzy is usefull but definetly dangerous if things go wrong. Pass block is useless for intercepting against any team relying on pass with access to safe pass wich basicly denies interception entirely it can be used however to move a charecter into the receiving charecters takle zone allowing you to at least force a doge roll. Maybe usefull on Dwarfs due to extra mobillity. Pro is extreamly Situational and should only be used as a last resort or in a situation where it wont really matter if you fail. Never take this skill for a big guy on a double before you got him block otherwise go for it. Wrestlle+Tackle is great to take on Block+Doge+Fend or Block+Doge+Standfirm+Guard players as you have a 50% chance to force them on the ground. Very good skill on high movment agillity players, in particular against any bashy team relying on Block and Guard (Dwarfs). Diving catch is a great skill as it basicly gives you a plus one to a scatterd throw and any accurat throw to your catch roll. If you can get this skill on a Dwarven blitzer or Runner take it. Couple this with another blitzer or Runner with the strong arm skill and you can actually play a passing game with Dwarfs! Side step is a great skill on its own and can be coupeld with fend. Sprint: never underrestimate "Go for it" or you will suffer the consequences. Grab negates fend and side step to my knowlege and is amazing for basicly pulling annoying players into death zones or to basicly trhow them into the crowd from less perfect positions If your big guy never gets block give him grab. Multiple Block is usefull on strengh 6 and 7 Players because they can get multiple 2 die blocks against Str.3 and 4 Guys if they are properly supported, Deathrollers can have a field day with this skill if you managed to get them block (Blocking 2 Str 5 with one dice or 2 dice and maybe 2 Str. 6 with one dice at the same time is broken). Strong arm is usefull for any AG 3 Player with acces to strengh expeecially if you want to play a passing game, even more so if one of your agillity 3 players with strengh acces got AG+. If you you can only get this skill on a double get Accurat instead. Cupple Juggernaought with frienzy for maximum profit. Used to pusch stand firm Players or negate fend on a blitz. Usefull on big guys as this skill ignores a bouth down result on a blitz, expecially if you dont have block.

8:49 You made a mistake here about Dauntless. The dice roll, plus the player with Dauntless' Strength, has to be higher than the opponent's Strength. A dwarf with 3 Strength attacking a Black Orc with 4, wouldn't get to use Dauntless if the roll was a one.

Keep dropping these gems brethren. Highly improving my game because of your knowledge. I'm in campaign season. Just beat the dark elves and that's in part to you. Quick question Sheepdog, in campaign season - are we not able to customize our costumes? (In the beginning when I started the game - the option was there) but I just went with the default look and figured I'd come back to it later. However, there is no customize uniform option available as you progress. (I just beat the dark elves (1st match against them) maybe as I progress further in the story the option opens up? But I thought you could do this whenever?

+Papo Papo No, you can only choose your look at team creation... I think you can configure new players as you buy them, but this won't let you change team colours.

I usually reroll double skulls if its the very first move i make during a turn. If i don't, i basically give a whole turn away and give the opponent a knockdown or a possible KO, injury or even death.
