Blood is always worth getting checked out. My friend just had an issue with bleeding. They found a precancerous tumor. If it had been ignored, it would have most likely developed into cancer. Because she got it checked out, she was able to get it removed before it got that far. I know it’s uncomfortable and awkward to go to the doctor for that, but if suffering with cancer is the alternative, feeling awkward for a short time is a very small price to pay.

@vickycompton9578 It's completely understandable to feel hesitant about medical procedures, especially when they involve something as personal as a colonoscopy or other diagnostic tests. However, blood in the stool, combined with back pain and other symptoms, should be checked out by a healthcare professional to ensure there's no serious underlying condition. If the idea of surgery or invasive tests feels overwhelming, you could start with a non-invasive consultation where you discuss your symptoms. The doctor might suggest less invasive tests first, and they can help you feel more comfortable with any necessary procedures. Taking that first step to the doctor's office is crucial for your health, and remember, you're not alone in feeling this way.
