This has been in the works for a year now. Tons of artists, animators, mixers, and editors put a lot of effort to celebrate ARMIS ANNIVERSARY! Shout out and MASSIVE thank you to Badlands Brigade and Gemmu for putting me on for this project. Lots of things were not going well for me irl and I couldn't keep up with the project at one point, but seeing everyone's hard work slowly come to life made me want to contribute properly as well. HIIIII HIII I was so lucky to work a lil on the art side of this project!!! I created the backgrounds used in Razors Edge 0:54 and Armadasburg 2:30-3:27, collaborated with fellow artist Korman41K on the first floor of the Deathtrap Castle 3:34-3:40, and drew Jurard at 4:38. This music video was a fantastic opportunity for me to get out of my comfort zone with my art. It was truly inspiring to see all these different kinds of creatives come together to create this body of work (it makes me tear up, LOL). OTSUARMADA, OTSUBRIGADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm the co-lead for this project along with Gemmu. I joined the team back in January intending to take on "some light administration duties" (lmao) and quickly grew into the primary project lead for the visuals phase of this project. I am so happy I was able to join such a passionate team and I extend my deepest thanks to every single team member who trusted me as a project manager. The organizational structure that was already in place when I joined the team gave me such a wonderful foundation to build upon as a lead and this project gave me confidence to grow in ways I never dreamed I could. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY ARMIS, I am so so so glad to see you all continue to grow as Holostars since your debut last year! I've been a part of the tempura fandom since HQ's debut and it's been just absolutely amazing to see our community grow with the armada as well. It's been SO HEARTWARMING to hear so many people tell me this is the first fan project they've been involved in, this is what got them involved in the community, or that they chose to learn new skills or that this is the smoothest project they've ever been involved in. I can't wait to work with y'all more in the future and see how much more we can grow together! In addition to my managerial role, I ended up with me fingers in almost every piece of this pie! I contributed vocals, storyboards, concept art (hope y'all like King Armada in particular, the corruption beast final boss for this MV!!!), the Badlands background art in the beginning of the MV, the majority of the final writing for our promotional collab with South Elysium Times, and other promotional material.
