Thanks mate! Gimme some warm weather here and I’ll be back out for some more tuning and top speed tests. I’m taking the convict to an event in a few weeks so I’ll have a video of that.

hmm is it me or is the blow by getting progressively worse throughout the video
@TasTuned Жыл бұрын
Different cameras make it look worse or better. I’m not worried, it’s never going to see too much boost and I have a few spare motors at home if o ever need them. There’s plenty of steam in the exhaust from the water being added after the turbo and the outside temp being 3 degrees.

Also the more I think about it I might try re routing the turbo oil drain back into the block where the mechanical fuel pump was rather than into the rocker cover. Maybe that hot oil into the rocker cover is promoting the smoking out of the vent 🧐
@Billskins4dayz Жыл бұрын
@@TasTuned great idea sounds plausible and one thing to check would be the flow of water if it takes a long while to get up to temp those pumps can push a fair bit through a motor most have regulators to adjust

@@Billskins4dayz yeah there is a ball valve that maybe I leave almost closed at first and then open up more once it’s warm

Not hot enough to burn off the condensation from the E85. Mine choofss if I let it idle too long and don't heat the oil up enough to burn the water off.
