So did you guys make these or just having them rebranded because there’s a company called h20 detail supply that just came out with one that looks exactly like this but with their logo. And they claimed they designed and made it.
@MasterOfShine Жыл бұрын
We saw that and are super excited for them! They developed a blower only, or so it seems. We designed these from our factory with the style and specs Anthony and I like to use daily in our detailing. Hopefully you will love them as much as we do!

These look awesome! How do they compare to the tornador?
@bluegrasskid4835 Жыл бұрын
They look similar enough (ie the jug on the Blaster + looks identical to the Tornador's) that my original guess was that Tornador manufactures, or at least licenses them to the Rag Company. However, the Rag company charges considerably less than Tornador which I would not imagine Tornador would allow if they made or licensed them. Maybe it is a case that they are close to Tornador products but not close enough to infringe the patent Tornador holds?

Would have been cool if you guys had made two different blower guns, the plain Jain with no bottle attachment and the one with the bottle that was modular so we could just buy the different attachments and use one blow gun for the engine blaster, the dressing applicator, and the one that sprays chemicals and blows just like the one without the bottle. That said I’m glad to see u guys are not making us trade our first born for any of them. The prices are actually fair and affordable.
@Jewel707 Жыл бұрын
Facts. 4 different products seems unfortunate. But they seemed to be priced ok. Im wondering if the Blaster plus can work without the bottle. Would rather just buy that and call it a day.
@theragcompany Жыл бұрын
Levi has mentioned that you can use the Blaster Plus with the tank empty, it just needs to be able to siphon air through the tube. So it's possible to use the Blaster Plus in the way you want-- Just leave the tank empty or put some water in it. (We don't know the long-term effects, though, so this is not an official recommendation) I should note, though, the performance of this "empty bottle" method may not be as good as using the original Blaster as-intended. So this is not an "Official" recommendation, this is just something Levi said he has tried.
@theragcompany Жыл бұрын
The fact of the matter is that any time you try to make one product perform multiple tasks, you have to accept certain compromises in the design, functionality, price, etc. and while that was a possibility, we'd prefer to keep things more simple by offering a few different tools dedicated to their given task for a very fair price. I can't speak to future possibilities, but for now we feel this was the path that made the most sense as we begin to offer air tools in our lineup.

Would you say that using only water in the Ultra Air Blaster Plus would work to clean effectively in most cases? I recall Yvan advising to only use water vs. chemicals in the liquid tornador, due to the dangerous aspiration into the air that you breathe...(and yes, I agree with wearing a protective respirator if using chemicals). Do you think using just water can work for a majority of interior work? thanks guys

If you should happen to order there is a good chance you will not get what you ordered. Example: the Rag says they sent my order of Soft grip wheel & body brushs, one short & long, and 1 ea black wheel & tire brush in a 12 inch square shipping box. Let's think about that, will a 18 to 24 inch long handled brush fit in a 12 inch square box, I think not. This is what the Rag said after contacting them about missing items. They, the Rag, "packaged all because two individuals signed off on the invoice that all items were in the 12 inch shipping box. OK WoW!

Who actually Mfg your tools? I.would have thought that the ultra blaster.or anymore these guns have more that 4 cfm of air volume. My Capri.Windstorm EX produces all the way up to 72cfm of air. Why didn't you make the Blaster plus to also allow you just to blast air. Makes more sense than having to purchase 2 tools .
@theragcompany Жыл бұрын
Unless I'm mistaken, you're comparing apples to oranges here-- The "4cfm @ 90psi" is the base amount of force *needed* to operate the Ultra Air Blaster tool. (It can flow more than that) The Capri gun you mention is definitely really cool, but it's a fancy version of the traditional "Blow Gun". Our Blaster creates a vortex by spinning the air to clean, which is not something a "Blow Gun" does. A blow gun simply pushes stuff around with a straight, unimpeded blast of air. Furthermore, the Capri blow gun you mention seems to retail for around $30 while the accessory kit with the Capri blow gun goes for about $80. To answer your last question, Levi has mentioned that you can use the Blaster Plus with the tank empty, it just needs to be able to siphon air through the tube.

Hi Aaron, we're sorry to hear that-- Now just so we understand, is the "fitting" you're referring to the part that's included in the box that you attach to the tool?
