The fact that this album was getting mixed, and even some slightly negative reviews before melon gave it an 8, and now its score on rateyourmusic and sputnik is higher, people are noticeably giving it more credit and talking about it a lot more, etc, is insane. Just goes to show the amount of influence he now has and how much his hard work over the years has paid off

I was made aware of Blu through his features on Skyzoo's, and Evidence's, projects. While I'm not the biggest fan of Blu's delivery (sounds monotone to me), I am a fan of Oh No's production, and after seeing your video's thumbnail, I decided to give it a shot. I was not disappointed! I love how this is a concept album (something I don't see a lot in rap music). The highlights for me are "The Lost Angels Anthem", and "Jail Cypher"! Overall, this album is some good California dopeness!

Lost Angels Anthem was one of my favorite tracks of ‘19 and consistently stays in heavy rotation. There’s still good hip-hop records, they’re just harder to find with all the watered down crap that’s out there. Just listened to this album all the way through. There's some sort of shaky stuff on the first half, but IMO starting with Champagne every song was amazing, it told a full story and had me hooked. Best rap album I've heard this year so far, might be better than anything I heard last year either (excepting maybe Lil Simz). Rare that a concept album this good comes out of hip-hop, it's usually more of a hit singles genre, but it's damn welcome as far as I'm cconcerned.
