Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZbin, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZbin. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZbin, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

Blue Cheer was the first band to use Marshall amps , at one time in the Guninness Book had them the loudest band in the World. Definitely pioneers :)

I am not 100 per cent sure, but the story is that the band was so loud that in the studio more than half of the sound to the recording came through drum mikes. Great story nevertheless. :)

Wow, this song is obscure. Loudest band of their time. I saw them as an opening act for someone (this old brain is slowly melting) and all I can remember is LOUD and distorted.

Heavier than any band at that time. Their whole debut album is crushing it. Crude, primitive and LOUD. Recorded in 1967, and released in the beginning of 1968. A classic.

My friend saw these guys at the Filmore west in 69. He saw everyone from the 60's to 80's and he said the two best live bands he ever saw was blue cheer and Zeppelin at the Filmore west

You need to check out "Black Magic Woman" originally by Peter Green era Fleetwood Mac, but made truly famous by Santana. Another one might be "Love Is The Answer" originally by Todd Rundgren/ Utopia but a hit for John Ford Coley & England Dan.

Reminds me of the difference between the Animals version of House of the Rising Sun and Frijid Pinks version. The Animals and Eric Burdon are great, but on this one gotta go with Frijid Pink! Guitars!

These guys were amazing in being heavy and loud in a primitive balls to the wall kind of way and this is 1968. Bass and vox by Dickie Peterson, drums by Paul Whaley. Their guitarist Leigh Stephens would play figures and solos that were dissonant and jagged. This LP Vincibus Eruptum is a killer but the 2nd " Outside Inside " is even better. They were a huge influence on the early 90's Stoner / Doom and neo heavies like Monster Magnet, Radio Moscow, Sleep, High on Fire, Nebula, Fu Manchu, Mount Carmel among others. Their manager " Gut " was a Hell's Angel !

Nice pick! The "acid" rock seen bloomed into hard rock and beyond. I first heard this when I was handed a huge box of 8-track tapes after a neighbor had a fire in his house and was getting rid of smoked out shit. I was 12, just got my first stereo( with a built in 8-track player). You might have to google 8-tracks. lol. Vanilla Fudge is another band of this genre you might want to dip ur toe into as well. You keep me hangin' on or Season of the Witch will get you started. Cheers and keep diggin' deep.

I saw the guys in 67 with the Soft Machine and Janis Joplin. They had a solid wall of double stack Marshall Amps. The sound was so loud it moved your hair and pounded your body. These guys weren't loud, they were FUCKING LOUD!!!!!!!!
