Thanks for asking - Yes, I did compose it - back in 2007 I wrote the album in 6 month period as a single peice of music (68 minutes) and used index points in the recording to separate the themes. I would love for you to hear the whole 'single' piece and I believe Spotify can do that if you click on the album and let it run through (it doesn't add gaps at the beginning or end of the cuts) so you can still get the effect without needing the actual CD

As always, Fiona, well done!!!! My most favourite still, despite your comprehensive albums/CD's. I cannot remember what your gorgeous Grand is composed of. It is some exotic wood I think you said. What is the unusual inlay at the bottom, that runs around the totality of the piano (soundboard?) Keep up the great creative work you do.

Its Huon pine - a Tasmanian wood that is used for boat building. There isn't much of it left, but because water doesn't damage it, they keep finding old submerged trees that they can build from. This piano has 97 keys, but most of the Stuart and Sons pianos have 102. The mind boggles!!!! It means more sounds to work with.

Thanks. Pleased you enjoyed the music. There is a lot of colour in the curtains behind. My husband's mother made them - they are quilted.
