What I made out so far is that this live version definitely is in dadgad. The studio version and all later live versions are in c#g#c#f#g#c#. But I'm not 100% sure it just looks that way and makes more sense from a songwriting standpoint. I don't know why they went up on this live version. It's a nightmare to sing. Watch this one the fingerings are easier to see (c#g#c#f#g#c#). I'll keep on trying as it's one of my favorite songs.

One of the greatest bands ever and this performance is beyond amazing and talented. Wish Carmine did the second LP n tour....imagine a Blue Murder UNPLUGGED? She Knows, Runaway...Is this...MTV REALLY.. REALLY pushed the Valley video, I was shocked...happy shocked. Did they get a tour opening for anyone?? ...Bottom line the best unplugged performances I saw on MTV were QUEENSRYCHE, KISS, THE CURE, LIVE, WINGER AND BLUE MURDER....VIXEN COOL TO AS WELL AS GREAT WHITE but ughhh hate Led Zep cover was a mistake. The harmonies ,....this shows the talent n John's voice so underrated talented and very powerful. Perfect drummer...at this time only Carmine or Eric Singer would be the choices...Toni amazing. This is right up there with RUSH and better than KING'S X....
