The audio is coming from the mic on the mobile phone. The Blue parrot was connected to a different device so that I could demonstrate the mapping capability using the voice command. That is why you heard background noises in the vehicle.

I have an issue with mine brand new. Everything is setting up nice however I can't get it to recognize any voice commands. Literally the only thing it hears me say is "Hello Blue Parrot" but then doesn't recognize any voice commands and will not voice answer any calls or will not let me text via voice. Any help getting voice commands to actually work?

And you are using the B550 right? If so double check the firmware for updates on the mobile app. Sounds like something glitchy. Do you also experience any other problems when you're on a call?
