I keep seeing this sentiment float around online that we - the Millennials and Gen Zers - had the best childhood, but the worst adulthood. The way Steve responds in moments like these feels like a strange merge of the two; a familiar face from our childhood coming to us as our adulthoods continue to endlessly traumatize us.

Idk, I think each generation had different adulthood struggles. Women's rights, POC rights, LGBTQIA+ rights, etc. that we have now, were not here in the 50s, 60s, 70s, and even before 2015. The economy was better, but only for non-minority people. We did have more loving parents as a whole though. Idk

@@Archimedes-v2oJust growing up in general is usually tough for a person, adult or child. While suicide is definitely not a good response, life is a burdening pain to most. The somber vibes and the sirens in the background are kind of symbolic of how much the world has changed since we first had him around in our childhood. I was a big fan of Blues Clues as a young kid. Loved all the characters, especially the mail box with his own theme music "Mail Time"!!! All the holiday specials and interactions was genuine and special, never trying so hard to teach kids about things, just came natural. Being 31 now and going through a lot of changes with family, moving out, dealing with feelings of certainity and even existential crisis and depression. I have been really missing those days when Blues Clues was still on air, before all the stress of being an adult, dealing with all the negativity and stress on a daily basis. It's really good to see an actor from my childhood who is a genuniely good person in real life, and is doing something that everyone in this world, even whole countries need, and that is taking a moment to catch our breath, and trying to process everything that has been happening!!! Thank you Steve Burns, for making my childhood, and even now my adulthood awesome!!!!
