*LYRICS - Blue* ------------ Blue Oh so lonesome for you Why can't you be blue over me? Blue Oh so lonesome for you Tears fill my eyes till I can't see Three o'clock in the morning Here am I Sittin' here so lonely So lonesome I could cry Blue Oh so lonesome for you Why can't you be blue over me? Now that it's over I realized Those sweet words you whispered Were nothin' but lies Blue Oh so lonesome for you Why can't you be blue over me? Oh baby, why can't you be blue over me? Ellen's voice is her "other" instrument and she has complete mastery of it and the banjo. Each one of the Peterson's does their part so well, especially Matthew with that solid guitar strumming, and then Katie who make the fiddle "talk" and the quiet Julie Anne who is growing up way too soon, Mama backing them all up and then Emmet's incredible dobro work all in perfect time and perfectly in key. So much talent in one family it's a musical miracle. This family sets the bluegrass bar at new heights.

Yah, you pretty much said it best!!! But the only thing I don't understand is why they aren't in Nashville tearing up the charts in country music. To me and millions of others, this IS country and blue grass music the way it's supposed to be. The Petersons are just so good and their music is not only true to who they are but to the genre of music they represent. We are all very fortunate that they are willing to share their gift with us all. Thank you guys for all your talent and hard work!!!
