Great video!! Pre-emergents have been a game changer for my St. Aug down here in South FL. Took a couple of seasons no doubt. Just yesterday I did a blanket app of Prodiamine.

This is great. Just looked up the price of Resolute 4FL and it's an even better price than the Quali-Pro. I'll be adding this to my mix next year for sure. Others in my cool season toolbox: On Deck, Triclopyr, Drive XLR8, and Sedgehammer.

Love your videos. I have learned a great deal. I'm in midlands of South Carolina and have a mainly St Augustine/Centipede lawn. I have used Celsius and Certanity over the past few years with surfactant and never had issues. This past summer when I used it, I had large areas of St. Augustine that were killed. It was hot...90's. Should I avoid spraying during that time...... seems like most of the summer we are in the 90"s.

Great info! I don’t offer spray as a service but if I do in the future I’ll keep this info in mind. I have used certainty in my own yard back a few years ago and it did amazing getting rid of the nutsedge.

Jason I have a question about Celsius and change up will this herbicides harm my shrubs if sprayed near them ? Trying to kill crabgrass around them ? Love your content and videos ! Really helps out us DIYers and the products we should been using !Thanks buddy !

Should be fine if you don't spray on the shrubs but I don't think they are labeled for beds. Celsius may help a little with crabgrass but probably won't kill it. Both are good for broadleaf weeds

Hey Jason, I'm an LCO in Oklahoma. I use alot of the products you use, but have you heard of or tried Flumigard SC? It's a pre-emergent for warm season grass, has a residual of about 8 months.

What's your preference between the Resolute 4FL and 65WG? I haven't used the flow-able liquid version. My experience with the wet-able granular type is that it creates a quite a bit of foam when I'm mixing it.

Love your videos. For poa-annua. Would you go with certainty and Celsius? Image isn’t cutting it for me

Both are probably slow. I think either one should work. I typically mix both of them together

Jason, I have spurge, and what I believe to be the "Garden Spurge" variety in my yard. Ive put Atrazine products, Tenacity, and Dismiss NXT on it, and it just laughs at me and the herbicides. What herbicide would you recommend for me to apply to kill the Spurge? A product that the a homeowner can buy that I wont cost an arm and a leg. Thanks !

I would check the label as far as Horses but my initial thought is it's probably not for pasture

Grazon p+d is a good product. Only restriction is for lactating animals. Restricted use, so license is needed to purchase.

Can't you use Prodiamine around shrubs or is there something about rose bushes? I've always sprayed Prodiamine around shrubs with no issues.

I typically just use it in the lawn. I'm not sure if the lsbel allows for flower beds or not

@@lawncarelife If you read the whole label, I believe it is ok for beds, with the exception of a few plants, so you have to know what those are. I've always sprayed my beds along with the lawn and haven't had a problem, but definitely read the whole label. You're commercial, so you probably don't have time to check all the plants people have so I get that.

Been meaning to ask you about core aeration. Do you have someone that you sub that service out too? I’ve never heard you mention much about it. Reason I am asking is because I have a few new customers that is requiring it as part of the program. I do not own one of them.

@@lawncarelife I wish I had someone here in my area that I could do the same. Only ones that does it here is the big chain. I priced the smaller 24” ride on unit from Z spray, and it’s like $14,000 ! Not ready to make that move.

Check if you have grubs. Moles like those suckers and they might be the reason moles are present. Get rid of grubs and moles might move too! :)

Find out what time of year the June beetle lays the grub eggs in your area and apply imidicloprid to the entire lawn at that time. For central Arkansas it is mid July. This product will not work if you apply it a few weeks or longer after they hatch. Timing is crucial in order for this cheap product to work.
