A pro griller tip is to start placing your items on the far side of the grill, and work your way towards yourself. Then do the same thing when basting. This avoids the issues of reaching across/through oily flare ups! "The burnt hand teaches best"... and I learned well! 🤣

Hello there Mr. Gabe I have got to say other than my uncle Ronny you are the only other person I have ever seen shoot so dam good and accurate. Gotta say awesome shooting and in low Light! I grew up around all the hunting and fishing all in the south Goergia and Florida area but I hooked onto fishing more than hunting. My uncle Ronny, I kid you not, I watched him one morning start waking up the whole house one morning trying to get my dad up because he seen a small herd of deer go through the back yard while it was pouring rain. He grabs his gun in his jeans and t-shirt, bared footed, takes off out the door, off the porch and start tracking them. he tells me to get my dad out of the bed he will need him to carry two bucks back from outta of the swamp! I was about 9 years old. I KID YOU NOT about 15 mins later, with my dad standing on the porch grieping about the rain trying to put his clothes on and mumbling about how crazy my uncle Ronny was; THEN YOU HEAR! BAM BAM! 2 shots came echoing thru the rain covered swamp and about 10 minutes later here come my uncle Ronny soak and wet just a screaming "GET THE TRUCK" yes he took out 2 big bucks on the run, in the rain and about 150 yards! And barely light. Thank you mister Gabe for reminding me about that story and doing what you and your family do! I have not thought about that experience in a long time until I seen you shoot your deer! I hope you read this and got this far! Pappy J Say " God speed to you and all"

I'm a born and raised Floridian, Born in Fort Pierce and spent most of my childhood growing up between Fort Pierce, Stuart, Indiantown, and Okeechobee, and then moved up to Crystal River. and one day had the idea that I wanted to go spend a week in the Los Angeles Hollywood area, and so I did just that, and I couldn't wait for my flight out of there and can say that I'll never go back. lol. I guess some things were kinda cool, but overall, it was the craziest place I'd ever been. lol. I do believe taking a ride up the coast into northern California would have been a much better way to spend a week.

Congrats very nice Axis deer and some fine table fare, love me some Axis burgers. Until you have hunted them people dont realize how hard Axis can be to hunt. They travel in herds usually so there are plenty of eyes watching not to mention they are skiddish, so it can happen really quick. Those shrimp were huge and i bet they we fantastic. Really enjoyed this one.

Those shrimp were like Giant Tiger prawns in my opinion, super nice! Gabe i forgot i increased my volume to hear you and Kelly talking before the shot on the Axis deer, Then you took the shot - I nearly fell out of my seat it caught me so off guard lol. Grew up in Hawaii Alot of time was spent on Molokai where the Axis deer flourish. Simple Teriyaki sauce soaked deer meat is still my favorite. Actually the Heart and liver teriyaki style still my favorite
